Request for RP resources.

Hey guys. It's Rob.
So, this weekend I'm going LARPing, and my character is a scholar/merchant kind of character. I'm all registered, got my costume and everything, but the thing is, I want to know some good stories to tell while I'm there.
I plan to borrow stories of events that took place here on Vives, things from old RP, old D&D campaigns, but I thought it might be nice if there were an internet resource where I could read up on cute fantasy-ish stories or jokes or whatever that I could have to enhance my character.
Plus, anything else you can think of that might help me out would be great.
I'll be posting pictures of my costume (and probably the event) when I get back Sunday night, if everyone wants.

1: flea market. They sure have some good ol' looking book!
2: Stories? *Looks at the server* here are some good stories that could be changed so that it fit the world.
3: and riddles eeeeeeh.........Not my cup of tea. Not good at telling them LOL!

“Out! Get out!” The words rang out through the sounds of Ashfield Academy for nearly an hour as Arthur hastily crammed his few belongings into a few bags and stumbled out of the academy, falling down the steps, with headmaster Dias following closely behind, an endless string of curses and hexes flying out of his mouth at the bumbling student.
“Arthur MoonShadow, that is the last time you leave this school’s laboratory in flames! You are hereby dismissed from our enrollment, and encouraged heavily never to dis-grace these steps with your presence again!”
With that, the headmaster was gone. Slowly, sadly, the young man picked up his belongings, stuffing them back into a bag. What was he supposed to do now? He had a few useful trinkets, a couple tomes of notes and important information, and enough coin to buy him a few days’ meals, scant as they may be. He had no way to return home, and even if he did, his parents would disown him. They had put everything they had into getting Arthur an opportunity to join Ashfield Academy, and he had blown his chance. Blown his chance, and the academy laboratory, for that matter. It was a wonder the headmaster hadn’t made him pay for the damages.
His option to simply return home scratched off the list, Arthur turned his thoughts towards the quickly growing city of Calendale. The town itself was only about as old as Arthur, and would prove to be quite a walk, especially on such meager provisions, but may prove worth it. The absent-minded student might be able to make some new friends there, maybe even a name for himself, an opportunity to return to Breckendorf and get accepted into the academy again.
And that is how the young Arthur MoonShadow started on his way to Calendale. |
