Apprentice Posted: 09 Mar 2004 04:14 PM |
Im considering making a PC with the following concept and was wondering what would be the best way to facilitate this.
He is basicly a young man who grew up as a scullery in the Four Winds and his father wants to apprentice him. So I would want to place a post where people could see it and perhaps a PC or NPC would come and he could become their apprentice.
I would have it open to class and crafting apprenticeships and would prefer a combination of both. I was going to make him a 1st level fighter just to make the PC. I think this would be an excellent rp opportunity for both myself and the master I was chosen by.
Please help ! :)

| Im up for him to apprentice to anyone who would like that sort of RP. Alignment of the lad will start at N and work either way depending on the RP with his master. I should be on later tonight (11pm ESTish..) and he will sit in the Four Winds until approached. :) |

Would have loved to but Im on fairly awkward times. Im around this week 8am GMT till any time which is about 3 EST. Sorry. Otherwise I would have done and Id have loved the RP too.
I do RP late in the mornings but not often enough I guess. If you can change your times then I would be happy to.

Jurist...that's like a lawyer, right?
Do you have a "Lawyers briefcaset of dishonesty +5" or a "power tie of fast talking" yet?

I have created the father to talk about the apprenticeship. He is named Cameron Fryar and is in the Inn currently. I will login as often as I can as that character until he gets a master for the son.
Thanks !! JS |

It is like a lawyer but with more influence in that they were given the power to pronounce what the law "has always been" and thus "is now".
That being the case:
"Evaramier Qu' Estreal hereby declares that the Courts of Midor, in its majestic pursuit of justice, have always recognised an action of slander and malice words to defame a persons good character. All such words must be justified by the perpetrator or he will pay a sum to the wronged and be flogged accordingly".
*Evaramier reads the note implicity alleging his possession of artifacts of dishonesty*
"Hmmmm" *smiles at Mykal |

Be careful. Calia is Evaramier's sister and from one guy to another, she's not after an apprentice, shes after a -husband-!

Re: Apprentice Posted: 12 Mar 2004 07:34 AM |
I wish I had read this post earlier... I was going to ask what that guy was doing.... and if he needed some help.
If you'd like, Daimon is a Smith and a Swordsman of sorts.... he's kind of a Fencer, actually, and makes fine blades and armor. Even though Greenwhisker called it first, I think you should become a smith's apprentice.
Of course, while I won't dispute he is a much better weaponsmith than I am.... I don't see him on much, and I'm a low enough level to relate/travel with you. Besides, the guy has green hair... I mean... who becomes friends with a guy with green hair?
I'll catch you on whenever you say You'll be on next. |

WHOA, wait, hold on.
Just remember, because there seems to be some confusion in these threads, there are two characters with unfortunatly similar names and so on. Calia (one "el") who I DO believe is a cleric of Aros and may or may not have started that women's group . . .
and Callia (2 "els") Latonen who is a cleric of Elbereth AND a monk and who Cameron has contacted personally to apprentice his son.
Cameron, if I am the wrong contact and you meant to contact Calia, cleric of Aros, please let me know, otherwise we will meet when and where planned.

Re: Apprentice Posted: 12 Mar 2004 11:31 AM |
Im willing to apprentice the lad to whomever shows interest. If I have multiple interested parties Im willing to roleplay and have the decision made by the father through such.
I will be in the Inn tonight at 9pm EST time and more than willing to have a nice bit of RP to decide young Caleb's fate. Anyone who is interested in apprenticing the young lad, trade or otherwise can meet me there. I plan to be there for a few hours at least RPing with all that come along just as I did last night.
I would not be opposed to a tradeskill apprenticeship and a adventuring apprenticeship under different masters should it come to that but I would really like rp to decide if possible. :)
