Are there provisions for such characters as far as quests and DM interaction? I have seen that it is mildly discouraged to play such characters, but not forbidden. We do however require evil players to put alot more effort into how they play evil than required of the gooders playing good. We want everyone here to enjoy themselves, but never at the expense of another players enjoyment. Obviously, the evil folks have to be a bit more careful at this then gooders (though we expect the same forthought of gooders too). I just wanted to know the DMs' stance on it and your treatise certainly helps. It takes a fair amount of story in order to have "good" and "evil" interact without coming to blows and I have seen that the players handle it admirably here on Vives. Other servers I have played on, evil was not played well. It was just an excuse to be a dolt and run aroung killing guards. Blech.
