Ok, I have played roughly 100 or so hours on vives, so i believe I can have a good input for you. Also, I have never DM'd or wrote code, so this is just a players point of view.

For the quests, there really needs to be some changes made, but the system is pretty good.

First, the good points:
1. Cant redo them
2. some of them are multifaceted, making them more work, and more RP.

Now, the missing links:
1. There needs to be a lot more quests, with all towns being utilized.
2. More class specific quests, especially for the tougher classes. Make them involve class specific gear.
3. The quests need to be more based on what level you are currently, with exp earned and treasure being directly based on the current level. If I am a level 4 ranger, I should not even be able to get a high level quest.
a. basic helping idea-make the some of the quest givers sorta permanent, like they will have a quest for you at level 3, 6, and 10. (Midor Temple Priest gives out quests over a lifetime of a character, making them more intertwined) Also, give them the ability to hire people for a short task, with small exp rewards, but its something to do when noone else is on.
b. when a player is young, the quests should be short and simple, with a brief geography lesson involved, but after a point they should become more of a real quest, where it can take hours to conclude, trying to find the right people, the right group, the right equipment, the right contacts, etc.

All in all, the quest system is good, but once you have finished the main quests, and you are on late at night with the skeleton crew, it is hard to find anything to do without taking a real good chance at dying, or having to hire a high level thug to hold your hand. Just some ideas that hopefully help.

So a cleric, a ranger, and a thief walk into a bar, which one am I?

Well after nearly 900 hours of play I have discovered a few new quests. (Nope, no telling whereWink). There are quests that indeed need you to be a certain level, for else you'd never get there in the first place.

But I must say I like your idea of the Midor priest giving out several quests based on level and perhaps class. You're a pally or cleric? Well listen up Bob, I need you to do the following...

The same would be valid for the other classes. The ranger house giving out quests for druids and rangers, etc...

Luther McIath: I see, so [X is] the right person in the wrong place with the wrong people at the wrong time.

[Fictrix] ... And can speak French, like both! Wait, I mean Elven.

I'm working on a few, some short n'quick simple ones and some more complicated (such as Versucci and Ellea). It's taking some time though due to the RL pressures of Work :/ So Bear with me/us ;)

you know, I would love to help with these, cause I have an extensive knowledge of MMORPG's and such, but I have no clue on how to use the aurora ware, so I never tried, but hopefully some of my ideas can help because, this world is very good, and with peoples help IG and OOC, it can be unbelieveable!!
