Maybe a few new additions to the Enchantment process would be in order.
Maybe tailoring could provide for just generic Belts, Boots, Gloves, and the Cloak, and Enchantment could provide for a few simple things they could actually do. |

| I think tailoring does provide for a basic cloak, or at least one of the weakest possible enhancement. |
Do not ask of them questions. You will receive three answers, all of which are true and horrifying to know. |

All in good time.
I'm going through the woodcrafting right now.
For the other crafts, I need to alter CNR to allow for the dynamic addition of properties rather than defining every possible combination of item that can be created in CNR

bows and crossbows are almost done.
in preparation, I will be removing all the old cnr bows and crossbows. for now, the objects have been renamed to start with "z_"
If you have some of these objects in a persistent container, and you wish to keep them, put them in your players inventory, else they will disappear when I finally do remove them.

CNR Updates - v2-98-6 Posted: 14 Jan 2006 02:09 PM |
*gack ack!*
CNR is gawd awfully boring to implement... mind numbing even.
CNR Bows are now IG, as well as the components required to make all the currently available arrows (more when I work it into enchanting)
PM me or bug report if you think something is not working, or some components are missing (like enchanted glass and iron ingots were).

Re: CNR Updates - v2-98-7 Posted: 15 Jan 2006 08:44 PM |
erm.. yes.
if you select shortbow the recipie calls for an ingot (of whatever metal, I can't recall) and a bowstring.
no wood. :)
seems to be that way for all the shortbows.
I didn't try the longbows, and all the crossbows have wood of some sort required, but not the shortbows. |

oops... gotcha. I know where the problem will be.
It is mindnumbing staring at the code for all the receipies. It sort of hypnotizes you.
It will be fixed in the next update.
