| Ah the emperor !! that was funny stuff. Despite the generally serious nature of Vives there were -a lot- of funny moments. I received some strange looks from people in the room with me when I'd bust out laughing. |

I forgot one tiny little thing, literally.
There was one builder in particular who made me waste countless hours trying to find.... transitions. Very tiny transitions that wouldn't light up if you hit tab. Said builder, who also happened to be a DM, would then have NPCs suddenly vanish as X was walking along or after X spoke to them (and he was pretty certain they weren't of the sorcerous kind). X had dubbed himself discoverer of secrets by that point....
So this is how I've spent days in Vives:
*wanders into an area* X thinks to himself that this was the area where he last saw person A or B. Surely there has to be some sort of secret passage here..... *inches forward and checks out a tree* And this went on and on for ages. I've found a few of these easter egg transitions (Khadros manor - see the whole library episode, there were 1-2 near the monastery and 1 near the old lighthouse). I don't remember off hadn if there were more that I discovered, but I'm sure I missed a whole bunch.
That was a different kind of torment... Heh. :) |

Icy Vale (as it was previously, using a hak) was the first ever area in Vives.... It was basically a few of us pissing about when the Lands of Lore server was down.... Chief was one of those I'm sure
Favourite, would (of course) be meeting Lisen/Nathalie. A distant second would be the building (I never did play/DM much). I'm just happy people liked & derived some enjoyment from it! |

I also used to test out monsters on you as well Chief right? Anything that could kill you ended up in game someplace Or they were just there to slap down in front of you to cause some havoc (pretty much my entire DM experience..... just randomly placing critters in front of players paths) :) |

| It's called "Rollin' with da punches" |
