*wipes away a tear* Excelent. You've brought life back to Aros, and the Elves of the realm. Thanks for the good read... it made me go back and dig up my original Aros/Elbereth material. Who knows, more of the content from the War and the coming of the Elves, might just resurface sometime soon. Cheers to ya... and have fun with the RP. Gwindor

Just stumbled across this site for the first time in... hmm, about three years! I see a quite a few logins I recognize from my first nwn server ever, Lands of Lore... Landru, definitely been a long time... doesn't look like Chief is still around, or many others... but there's definitely a few here I recognize. Anyway, just wanted to say hello, and that it looks like you're still fighting the good fight, living in a world of roleplay. Good stuff. Since leaving here I've moved on ...

Ok... so to find a 10/- resist belt = no good? Or finding anything above 10/- is no good? So 5/- is the max, yeah? Just want that to be clear.

Armor dyes? 2/8/2004 11:28:32 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Having the ability to customize your character to your liking, is 50% of the fun for a lot of people that play NWN online. Where, if not in a roleplaying world, would this be the case even moreso? Having the cloth dyes in the trading post is nice, as it helps a little. But almost every armor has at least one of the other two kinds of material, leather and metal. Changing the color of one's armor is not a world altering event, nor is it something that can give -any- unfair advantage ...

*laughs heartily* Oh my. I'm not talking about an earth shattering system here Aria. I'm just wondering about -basic- colors for all types of armor. metal, leather and cloth. It seems more than slightly odd that -every- cloth dye is available. Yet for purchase, I've yet to see a single leather or metal dye, aside from those other PC's have obtained through various tedious means. The midor works smith/merchant couldn't sell basic metal dyes? On the same note, some peddler of leather ...

Come to find out that leather is in :D With luck I'll stumble across metal dyes soon too! Woot.

*It was long after dark when the wagon driver finished his last trip from Port Royale, walking with a weary step through the gates of Midor. He had poured over the pages time and again throughout the day, having been afforded many opportunities to read them since the strange traveler had burdened him with them. Holding aloft his lantern, the Dwarf walked through the streets of Midor looking for anyone who might be able to help him unload this journal of loose pages. Stopping a moment to ...

*Looking over the stack of papers delivered that morning, the Head librarian settled into his chair to begin reading the countless pages of script contained within them. The reading went by quickly though, for the pages were of an even hand, in a flowing script that did not strain the eyes. Rising from his chair after seemingly endless reading, the librarian placed the pages in a neat stack on the corner of his desk, where they would be bound for shelving. Two pages were left in his ...

The coming of Elbereth and the ending of the War of 100 Years; from the journal of Gloredhel, High Druid of Elbereth... "The day has gone on much as all the rest, in this the 100th year of this forsaken war; Orc raiding parties diving through our lines, arrows as black as the night sky rained down on our camp with little respite. Our mages long since destroyed, we have little aside from my remaining druids to defense the magic of their Shamans. Neither Aros nor Grunjak, the Orc War God, ...

The coming of Elbereth and Aros, and the betrayal at the War of 100 Years. From the journal of Ea’dalen Belethil, Holy Warrior of Aros. --It has been nearly a year since we set out from camp to flank the enemy. Grunjak’s forces are relentless of their scouting to the east and west, so our progress has been much slower than anticipated. Yet the day has finally come that we find ourselves in position in rear of the dreaded Orc army. I would have protested the order to bring the host of ...
