| I'm new to this world and I've spent a couple hours playing. Here are my impressions:
First off, let me repeat the praise that others have mentioned about the intro. Very nicely done. Given the focus of the world on content over quantity, I think it might be appropriate to have a few minor quests for new PCs in the Four Winds Inn. I was able to find out info about my surroundings, but a short, structured quest could go a long way to further familiarize new players with your world. By ... |

| Some additional feedback:
One of the things I like best about this world is the option to engage in race-specific language. In the past, I have used a set of scripts in my mods for books that I think would be perfect in conjunction with the Vives language system. These scripts make it so that books can be written in different languages (elven, dwarven, common). There are various other aspects to the system, and you can read more about the scripts ... |

| Thanks for the reply Aria; it looks like you are several steps ahead of me! If I have any insights worth posting, I'll do so in the other thread. I think its safe to predict that if you are able to put such a system together, it would be among the most popular fan-created scripts out there. |

| I'm glad you found that script useful Aria. On the intelligence thing, the book system I mentioned early handles it this way: an intelligence above 10 (I believe) allows the PC to read a book in his language. Players with intelligence of 16 can identify which language the book is written in (if not their own). Players with lower intelligence between 10 and 16 can't determine which language the book is written in, if not their own. I like this system because it means that players who cannot ... |
