Anyway... I don't belong on this list way up there. I think I ran only a few decent events. Didn't do any "story lines". I wonder how I racked up those hours. -- I'm also Game_Warden by the way for those not in the know.
My only regret is that I've never killed enough players during my stint as a DM. Clearly I lacked proper training and guidance from the other DMs. |

Are stag beetles that scary? I was only afraid to face them with low level characters. Stepping too deep into the cave trying to complete the wife's quest was always something I feared, but never again once they got mid-level.
This inspires me to go out and face the Stag Terror myself with some character. |

Growing up as an obnoxious teenager, Vives had quite a unique significance for me. It would not be hyperbole to say that Vives and everyone involved with it have played some significant role in making me the person I am today. Fictrix can probably attest that my mind never wanders too far from here, and we both have inflicted great amounts of babble on one another concerning Vives even after the world was dead and gone and in the past.

Here are the few people I remember and had a remarkable time playing with, though I have fun with everyone else I forget:
A big shoutout to Llewen (Glordong), always had lots of fun roleplaying with Glordong, and his sillyness always put a smile on my face.
To Para\Doujan (Eerel), for another character I am having a lot of fun playing with. Along with Eerel and Glordong, our characters became quite a family.

Shoutout also to our crew to Haven. Renter, SQ, CFsimmons. and ofcourse this includes our Muse in the IMPENETRABLE BLACKNESS OF DESPAIR. Yikes. I was on pins and needles. Saana had to cast that Remove Fear just to avoid panic.

I would like to give a shoutout to Moriarty. I really have enjoyed him RP Talion under his curse. It has given me a glipse of the depth of Talion's character that I didn't first realized. Well done.

Nice roleplay from everyone, and especially Pretzels (again) - Hats off to you, Bel is a great little oddball!
Oddball? She is the adoreable gnome of adoreability on a scale that outmatched the epitome of adoreability and thus requires a new word such as giadoreability which combines giangatic and adoreability and thus worthily reflects the scale in which she is adoreable!

Shoutout to Ranger for completely baffling two of my characters at the same day in a way they have never been baffled before, and to everyone who has been at saturday's event. Now Alton really doesn't like elves so much, and considers converting to Heck Almighty the Lord of All Smiteliness. |

Shoutout for Trish and St.Raven, for the very fun time of having Alton traveling with Macha and Dorian on the endless quest for crafting. Same for the others who were encountered along the way. It was great fun!

So many thanks, so many people that shaped my RP life on Vives. If I don't mention you..smack me so I don't forget!

Trent was a character I always wanted to stick with. To this day, I don't really understand why. There just so many stupid stupid things I have done with him and to him, so I had every reason to scrap the character and move on to some new idea that I could have a better handle on.
As if there was any chance I was ever going to do that.
There are a lot of things I regret about doing (and not doing) with Trent. Most of the time, I was completely lost and confused about what ... |

I only VAGUELY remember this ever happening.
I wonder if Alton was cured or that I simply forgot about this after a while.
Considering he was an air-headed cleric of Vilyave, a fear of cats seems quite apt.

That reminds me of a different adventure where Alton followed two other PCs, whose names I cannot remember, into the place where the Mind Flayers lived (I think they were called The Gathering?).
Alton stayed in Greater Sanctuary while the two others slaughtered their way through the lair, until they got to the final chamber where a DM had Death Drinker (the evil megasword) waiting under the Mind Flayer control to slaughter the interlopers. And slaughter them it ... |

I've had an idea I presented to Fictrix not long ago about rewarding players who contributed (noticeably) to the Four Winds plotline with special, DM-made items unique to each PC. Right now, only three players have actively participated in the series of events related to the storyline: Salt, Amon and Talion.
From a mechanical point of view, I want to strike a balance on the properties of these items ... |
