Big shoutout to the God Squad for finally having a good old-fashioned evil-smiting session without one of us ending up in the infirmary. Cedrych and Rosen are the truest friends and ablest knight companions one could ever ask for.
And of course a huge shoutout to that giant pumping piston of manliness, Talion Deraith. Thanks for guiding us to the promised land tonight, and showing the God Squad what smiting is all about.

Shoutout to Robber Baron - I feel like Lucius and Ulalume have the most wonderfully complex love/hate relationship I have ever experienced in a roleplaying situation. Every time Ulalume enters an arguement with him, thinking she's absolutely right, he ends up being able to leave her with a twinge of doubt about her position.
Another shoutout to Vulpina, a great nemesis. If I didn't know Marrya and Dana were played by the same player, I would never have guessed in a million ... |

Big shoutout to Fictrix for some of the most enjoyable hours I've spent in Vives. Discovering the richness of this plot and witnessing the new areas as they emerge, it's been just magical, like living in a fantasy novel.
Also big ups to Imperious and Rosen, it' so nice to be in the company of noble paladins, especially when they come with matching armor. Imperious was right - we should start a band. How about calling ourselves "Justify This"?

Big shoutout to Brant, Rosen and Karlina for a memorable session last night that included everything - adventure, death, a trek to the Seven Sisters, and a wonderful "coming down" session at the Cafe Del Mar, capped with a nice song and wonderful emotional moment. It just doesn't get much better than that, guys.. (raises a glass) ;)

Shoutout to Zahn Mahetna, for being one of the coolest characters I have ever seen.
Also major props to Imperious, for being a conscientious RPer and a first-rate poster, and Robber Baron, for RPing some tricky interpersonal issues and addiction well.
One final shoutout to Telli Thunden for being ridiculously hard to hit and always willing to participate in a plan where she's the bait. :)

Yes, if you are really trying to look less poncy, the toga makes Lucius look manly; the skirt you normally wear does not. :)

Ulalume for being so abrasive and.. Well, the epitome of Midor (at least old Midor.. not so sure about the new order) As much as I like getting along with people, some of the most fun I have is when there is friction.
Absolutely ditto for me. In a lot of ways I think Ula is the perfect nemesis for Ana: she's very old-school Midor, but with the added bonus of the Elbereth/Tarik theological angle. It's like peanut butter and chocolate: the two great ... |

Aaaarg, can't believe I missed this! Family event in LA this evening, and my desktop died this week, so all gaming for the forseeable future is going to have to be on the lappy... which I'm not completely sure has 1.68 yet.

Just want to second everything that's been said. Making my way through three levels of tombs not knowing where the hell I was going and constantly running from armies of undead was one of the tensest moments I have had playing NWN. I seriously thought I was a goner about three different times. |

I love Robert Heinlein
As do I, despite the fact that he wrote a book where his protagonist went back in time and had sex with his own mother, as well as impregnated two teenage female clones of himself (presumably simultaneously).
It also always amused me that his novels had people exploring the planets using slide rules. ;)
Gotta love those crazy repressed 50's and their cockamamie views of the future.
