A shoutout to Rosen for the best roleplay I've experienced in...well, I can't remember where or when.
Emma, and the Snooty Duchess, bawled like babies.

Come to think of it, the trip, including Salt, Tristian, Hans, and latterly Ophelia, as well as the Wrath and the Kitten, was really nicely rp'd all along, and it was epic. Thanks all for that.

Also, a shoutout to Snooty Duchess, for Emma's masterful manipulation. It'll be fun trying to dig Val out of this little hole.
*sparkly hazel eyes alight on the elf, before slowly turning red as the petite young woman sprouts wings, grows, and stomps over to him, consuming his very life essence in its entirety. Then she returns to her normal self, smiles sweetly, and runs off to save the world.*

Just wanted to give a shoutout to Emma, Sylune, and Father for a fun expedition into the swamp around Tanglewood; Even though we never found that hound it was a lot of fun.
There is nothing Kelderak likes better than travelling amongst an "animal army", except maybe providing "manly" support for a friendly farmer girl from Paws...

I want to give a real big shout to PDW, aka the Butcher, possibly aka Mr. Sprinkles unless there were two of you. Tugging Emma down to Nethar'u was so well done, and the knowledge you showed of the character and her history just floored me, considering I hadn't really done all that much to put it out there publicly. I tip my hat to you.

To the DM/DM team who ran last night's escapades: Thanks for letting Timik have some history with the environment. I was so surprised I was speechless when the Mystraiders started talking to me. But it totally helped my character development. I also appreciate your paying enough attention to my character to know the scenario makes sense. Thanks!!

Wow..*catches breath* Massive shoutouts to Snooty (Emma) and Kalos (Dante) for some of the most intense combat and breath-taking near misses I can remember....three combats in a row we were all down -- at one point or another -- to nearly single digits hp, and somewhow managed to survive. I still don't know how Dante was stunned in front of the snake at about 4 hp for what seemed like forever and still walked out...Nice teamwork, great stuff....

Well, the trip to the the volcano was very meaningful to me, today, and big thanks to whichever Butcher sent the twists and turns, and conclusion. Thanks to Rosen for the always crisp comments and for getting it all organized, and to those who followed in her wake - Tristian, Josaphine, Pietro, and Feren.

Well, it was a long chunk of time IG for me today; I nearly forgot to thank a couple folks who made the night memorable.
So, a shoutout to Markus (Bolgryn) and Val (I X) for going on the mission to Asashi, and to the newest addition to the stable of Butchers, for making the world interact with us. I didn't expect us to end up where we did, doing what we did. It was fun start to finish.

I really must recognize Wicked Keen's ingenuity in the face of a Kobayashi Maru-type situation yesterday in the Hardknott Fort. Wands of fear are not junk items! Sylune almost, almost saved our bacon, but for my own poor timing, twitchy fingers, and screwy hot buttons. It was a sweet plan, and on the second time through with some minor modifications it worked like a charm and got Vrodo and Emma walking again.

A shoutout to Isania, Evanna, Emma, Ophelia, and Talion for all the fun in the mountains. I had no idea that the journey would end with Bel being revealed as a necromancer! A shoutout to The Narrator also for making it happen.
I can't figure out why Talion is always coming to the defence of necromancers... Fri'el, Romulus, Bel.
Just misguided I guess, I'm with the Paladins on it - burn them all!

A quick shoutout to Calmeir and the DM for all the fun stuff tonight. I've played evil and heartless characters who would not have reacted as Emma did in the aftermath of that little dog attack, but there was a little discussion much earlier about an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth...
Too bad Emma will likely never travel with Ana again. I had much fun. |

Well lookit that. I have to give a massive Shoutout to the Whisperer for the latest instalment in the Bucket Head saga.
It has been aeons since I have laughed as hard and for as long as I did today. The bucket heads were great, but Ashen was hilarious - absolutely hilarious - as the suffering straight man.
So...it appears many weighty matters will fall before the loyal servants of the Buckets of the Round and the Kingdom of Bail.

A big shoutout to LowFatPretzels, who I just spent the last 4.5 hours RPing with. You are one of those people who makes others slow down, emote, talk, argue, etc., and you really make the world come alive. You make me want to play the way folks are expected to play on an RP server.

A large part of the reason I'm retired from Vives is due to epic levels. They pretty much are the cause for a lot of things that scared me away from playing. Which is why I always spoke against them and why I strongly advise against putting them.
My best time on Vives occurred when my characters were around level 10 and with parties of others around that level. High enough level to fight things thrown at them, low enough level to run away from them - all ... |
