We'll need somewhere to obtain Karsey paper from then, as it is you can only get it from the oversexed old bird in Port Royal's public bogs...

My understanding was that you didn't need to be a follower of either god, sure being one might well lead you to being a PM, but that as the class is just non-goodly not necessarily evil in outlook that would seem to make sense to me.

This reminds of a part of an old poem by William Blake

"I went to the Garden of Love,
And saw what I never had seen;
A Chapel was built in the midst,
Where I used to play on the green.

And the gates of this Chapel were shut
And "Thou shalt not," writ over the door;
So I turned to the Garden of Love
That so many sweet flowers bore.

And I saw it was filled with graves,
And tombstones where flowers should ...

Alexander Solzhenitsen - "You can have power over people as long as you don't take everything away from them. But when you've robbed a man of everything, he's no longer in your power."

C.S. Lewis - "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but ...

Although you've already quoted him once, he just got some of the best lines, here's another one of my favourites

Stage 1 is complete, Dana has now taken my nasty little concoction and has a rather bloodthirsty guest in the form of Gruin sharing her mind (at times)... egging her on along the lines of "Hungry.... must kill...must...Blood, want drink blood..." etc. (Please feel free to mess with her at any times)

Dana thinks that she is now cured of the Yuan ti, so she might go down there for a little revenge - not sure whats supposed to happen to her if she does, Ficcy can you remember ...

Following a chat with Ficcy, I'm looking to get this one organised for fairly soon, I'll be needing to organise some sneakiness first to add to the festivities. Look for roast Kowz on the menu coming soon.

Spent a little bit of time coming up with some background to the feast itself

The Legend of the Blood Moon

The rising in the sky of the blood moon is an event long held sacred by the shamans and worshippers of the Great Beast Gruin. In fact it is so pervasive in Orcish and Half Orcish societies that even those more civilized hold it as a sacred time of renewal and a promise that heralds a time of plenty ahead.

The legend itself –

The feast of the ...

The sneaky stuff, now with added "smeakiness".... bold new look, same great taste, try some today!!!!

Comes in three stages

1 Dana will be sent on an expedition to gather some components for a potion, ostensibly to treat her emerging symptoms from the Yuan-ti episode. Of course it'll do no such thing, its really only there to give Gruin a link to influence her through dream sendings and such like.....

2 Will arrange for Dana to be a storyteller at ...

The issue I've always had with Drow is that far too often people tend to drag far too much baggage from the Drizzt series et al with them when they RP them, myself included in this. So I try and stay away from them as much as I can nowadays

Why all the Potter hating I wonder? Reminds me of a comment made by my wifes aunt, she'd read the book and said that she found it infantile, to which I responded by informing her that she was a 60 year old woman, and perhaps a trifle beyond the scope of the books target audience. Deus ex machina heroics - it's a work of childrens fiction, I personally haven't seen anything in it that is more excessive than many other stories (see T.S. Lewis Chronicles of Narnia - it all takes place in a land ...
