I have an idea!!! For all those power gamers wouldn't it be fun to have a running count kinda like the Dirtnap League? I can see it now: nobody talks, they're too busy looking for new areas, killing their chosen foe, trying to get that "extra kill" and even good characters have become slaughtering sociopaths! We could rename it "Bloody Vives!"
How about posting for the Valstadoriun followers: most items crafted per character, most crafted item, most harvested ... |

Shoutout to Karli again for her RP with Jessup, Lou, Dana, Kal and the anonymous new Dwarf who said nothing the whole time so Kal didn't catch his name. :P
Wonderfully played, the chatter is always amusing. I felt so fortunate when she stayed to give "Songbird" (Birdy, or Kal) a lession on how to play with one less finger... then the philosophical debate that ensued as to how come a mechanical hand IS NOT okay. Rosen, Lucius, Dana, Brant, Sam, Ophelia, That little rude halfling... ((what's his name, Kikli?)) RP in the Port as EVERYBODY suspected that Dana had eaten Kal's finger, yet NOBODY let him onto it... that was GREAT! Props to all of you! Fun RP, I loved how Rosen was the only one with enough guts to come right out and accuse the "Witch" Dana of eating Kal's finger, yet even Lou (in his denial) seemed even a little doubtful for a moment there. Heh. I always have fun roleplaying with Dana... props to the genius who thought of the character concept! Although I must admit that I'm missing Marrya... there was some great RP with Kal going on there. Hah! Rosen is also played by the same person who plays Form, and I must say I am very excited to have this player in Vive, as I have shared some of the most interesting, entertaining, fun, and memorable RP with this player's Characters. Still new to Vives, I rate the RP as good as many of my regular favorites including Bkatt's, Vulpina's, yggsdrasil's and whoever it is that plays Lucius ((forgetting now who that is, but the list continues on of my fav's))

Major shoutout to Balthor for his awesome RP response to how he inadverntantly used Negative energy to "heal" Kal of his mising finger and nearly turned him into a zombie. He RP'd it spectacularly, and was duely inspiring. I wish there had only been more players involved to witness his skill. A short run, but the most fun I've had on a "quickie quest" in a very long time.

DRAT! I missed what looks like an awesome adventure! I love playing with everyone of you guys! (even Talion, even though Kal's opinion of him is of resentment, bordering on hatred!)
Stinking rehearsals! My evenings are shot for the next 3 weeks, so I'll be scarce until mid August, at least. ((I've been able to pop in for 30 minutes to 1 hr, thus the mysterious appearances of Filraen, who needed a rebuild.))

Shoutout to Macha for some great storytelling. Kal really does have it in his journal (for now) I keep all pertinent Plot info pertaining to him in there, plus crafting, etc... I think there is some definite potential for Loccard's Blades, if I can only convince a DM to incorporate it! Vakal Galanderos and other evilly greedy thief/warrior/assassin-types would KILL, MAIM, or MURDER for them I'm sure. And they're just out of reach... Plus the potential to torment Macha with them...

And worth bearing in mind. There are characters out there who can provide you with insights into a lot of what has gone on in the world in the past, and still affects what is happening currently.
It can lead to some fascinating and enthralling RP, and trust me you are almost guaranteed to learn something in one way or another.
There is of course one proviso, you need to speak to these people in the first ... |

SO! WHile fun stuff was going on in Ferien, a small party went to explore the cliffs beyond Bloodwood. It turned out to be disasterous!
Thanks to Henesua, Casa, Bereil and Ficcy for the support. The RP was great and although it took a while for them to save brandibuck from the ravaging of creepers, Kal finally got dragged out of the pass... and Ficcy did some wonderful fireworks to make Djinn's healing via Elbereth WONDERFUL to watch! Also the battle that slew the many creepers ... |

Katya and Nadia made for a fun session today. At the end of my workday I'd only intended to log in for a short while. Since most PCs dont have the time or patience to deal with Animal's inability to communicate in common and his lack of civilized culture, it's usually pretty light RP and and a lot of comical fun stuff. But Katya has a bear animal companion and Animal was raised by bears, so the unexpected result was: FINALLY somebody who can roleplay an advocate or friend!

Oh yeah, and shoutout to Talion ((moriarty)): as a player I would have loved those Mithril Scraps, but with the emnity between Kal and Talion I totally understand that he wouldn't give any. When he threw them in tha trash barrel RIGHT IN FRONT OF KAL, I cringed and laughed at the same time!!! GREAT RP, and a bitter gut-puch to Kal in response to his ignorantly slandering Talion. Quick shoutout for Fen and Serai for joining Tal on his ... many hour quest to find a Mahagony tree. Traveling to Maldovia and every odd area we could think of only to find it in a peaceful area. *laughs* It was a blast and to think... it was all to make a sword for a Naruthain.

Londo: I have to say, his RP an antics are hilarious. I particularly enjoyed his first meeting with Vulpina and all the Womanizing, Bad Ettiquette, Bad Speech, Poor Communication, and Utter frustration on Kal's part trying to convince him as to why armour IS indeed necessary. The disgusting pick-up lines had me rolling too!

HAH!!! I was at first shocked, then angered, then hurt, then LAUGHING MY *$$ off! It was the typically connived Talion who zapped Kal and made him look like the fool once again! AND I was trying to change his image a bit more!!! You never fail to reduce Kal to the quirky crafter he is!

AND shoutouts to the few who hung on and went to look for "Freddie"! It was fun going into the Durgazon lair, bumbling about, blowing off sound traps, and then getting ambushed and... erm... "nearly" killed (wink to Game Warden).
Vrodo and Tristian, FUNNY RP around the Adamantine. I found it hilarious how they played off of Kal's quirky nature and OBSESSION with crafting as the events evolved. You had me Laughing Out Loud a good many ... |

1116 (or something) for a long, time. . . . Then, finally, a launch that landed me 1309 feet. I tried to register a high score, under the handle 1nsyte.
I'd like to thank all the little people (particualrly gnomes) who place the explosives on the tarmac and the little flying baloon bombs.
