1.Re: Q&A
Posted by I X on 7/18/2013 3:38:08 PM
Deathdrinker was a lot of fun.

I'd take it IG, "fly" it around and kill everything in its path, where the PCs could see it app happening.

I'd emote all the happy noises the sword made when it killed.

I'd never have it attack the PCs (it was waaaaaaay overpowered) unless the PCs attacked first. I don't think too many PCs died before they learned a bit of fear.

Eventually, a large group of PCs did take the sword ...

Shots and shout-outs all around! That was one hell of a spelunk!

Thanks to the DMs, for arranging that wonderful trip. And to the Players, without whom none of it would have been possible.

Special shout-out to Salt for never letting us forget who he is, to Talion for keeping Val's hate strong, and to Ula for giving Val someone else to hate!

(Don't worry Valethrion, I haven't forgotten your crimes, but I haven't learned about them IC either!)...
You'll never catch me! *Evil cackle.*

Oh, and speaking of crimes...
...whatever it is I do without you!
I know what you're up to!

And yes, today was a ton of fun! Thanks to the Jester for giving us a fun chase, for showing off a few new troll/ogre faces, and for being really ...

Quick, post-mortem Shoutout to the Tuesday Nighters. It was hilarious every step of the way!

Shoutouts all around! Especially to Talion. *Dark chuckle.* Totally not going to do anything bad to him...

Equal well done to Kalid for staying in IC and taking the ring....
*Ahem.* Kalid didn't actually take the ring. It jumped into her inventory of its own accord.

and setting a new chain of events in Vives to motion!!! *evil cackle*
Any and all incidents related to what Kalid did not do are the direct responsibility of Slide, since he's the one that exposed Kalid to the ring and thus provided the ring the ...

A bit of a Shoutout to the Muse for getting my heart really racing today. I've never, -ever- had to fight that many undead before.

Unfortunately, the reset kicked in, which is as good a signal as any that it's about time to eat Christmas.

Thank you, though, for putting me in line.

I just wanted to give a bit of a shoutout to Robdixon and W. Artist for the bantering match at Ladriel last night.

I can't remember the last time I'd had so much fun or laughed so hard.

_
Also, a shoutout to Snooty Duchess, for Emma's masterful manipulation. It'll be fun trying to dig Val out of this little hole.

*sparkly hazel eyes alight on the elf, before slowly turning red as the petite young woman sprouts wings, grows, and stomps over to him, consuming his very life essence in its entirety. Then she returns to her normal self, smiles sweetly, and runs off to save the world.*

I knew it! :P

Yes, Val's had it tough. Well, tougher than he would have, if he hadn't killed the "innocent" farm girl.

*Changes Val just to spite you.* :P

I feel all nice and warm and fuzzy inside. Shoutout to Balthor for being the way -he- is: contradicting Val and always causing an exchange of banter. Also for a lot of OOC silliness. We gotta stop being competitive.

And another Shoutout to Emma, for giving Val a second chance. I suppose I'll miss the "murderer" title; but hopefully a quiet game will help that die down.

Yet another Shoutout to Emma for a great game of Chess, and for the enlightening and intriguing conversation.

Despite the early hour, I enjoyed myself thoroughly. It was well worth the sacrifice of a long night's sleep and the ire of my parents. Thank you very much.

Hopefully we can play again, but at a more agreeable hour.

...Just so long as you don't sprout Devil horns again.

Also, thanks for the article. ...

Very big and warm and cuddly Shoutout to Barnas, known here as Alyssa Elliot, for the verbal sparing match that took place with Valethrion in the Broken Mask.

Too much fun; even if it was a bit one-sided.

Take note, kiddies. Try not to piss off the narcissist. And, if that can't be helped, try not to get in an argument with her. If that doesn't work, walk away. Or stab her face. Either/or.

Three cheers for Rosen for doing an amazing job of finishing off our story (well, it's not really finished, but that part is). You already know I think you're the best writer I am acquainted with, and it was a real pleasure to put that little tale together with you.

Seconded.

It's a pain, having Val the way he is when around Hrothgar. Were it really up to me, I'd let the old man ramble on and on.

In a night sky full of roleplayers, you truly are one of the brightest.

A dizzying Shoutout to, first and foremost, the DM(s) that hosted this morning's little event. It was fun, interesting, and exciting (Nice special effects in the Hall of Champions). I'm still marveling at how quick most of the NPC responses were throughout the entire ordeal.

Also, a round of cheers to Alton, Tristian, Salt, Traven, Kalid, and Lyle for making things even more interesting, during the Nethar'u run and afterwards.

Aeryth... wow, I love your character, and I love the way you play her. Really someone unique, first time I've seen something of this sort in RP.

Hoping to catch more RP with you later on. :)

I wholeheartedly agree.

I was thoroughly impressed with the character's history, and I'm eager to learn more.

I'd like to give a Shout to Fubar [EuroKurd], for being such a fun guy to Roleplay with.

And, subsequently, for creating one of the most interesting (if violent) Monks I've ever had the opportunity of playing with.

And on another note, thanks a lot Sinjin for a really enjoyable RP session. I'm glad their relationship was just formed, and I believe it can lead to many more stuff. Finally Ayn has someone to speak Philosophy, Ki and Martial Arts with. :)

Eli, I hope the driving lesson went okay (I'll still be suspicious of your driver; I'm certain he's never driven before in his life either)
Surprisingly, it did. I ran down only 2 people and bumped only into three trees. *Blows some wind on his fingernails and brushes them against his shirt.*

I would first like to thank everyone who came to the festival, that was a really great time, I love bringing out Bruce (you guys seem to enjoy his company) and I loved the magic competition. The improv comedy was great, but I don't think it really transferred well to text, personally.

I'd also like to thank Valethrion, Veran, Ayntherien, Annes'seh, and Benny for the OOC Arena hijinks tonight. Sometimes it's good to just goof off and murder each other a ...
