| 1. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Fubar on 6/13/2006 6:59:24 AM Likewise, Trishy. :) It's not every day you meet a daughter of a God you detest. Was... interesting. Now just to plan the assassination. |
| 2. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Fubar on 6/1/2006 4:04:56 PM Many thanks to docta/Fat Sam for making the life of a beginner at this server ten times easier than what I possibly hoped for. :D |
| 3. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Fubar on 7/2/2006 1:39:10 PM Aeryth... wow, I love your character, and I love the way you play her. Really someone unique, first time I've seen something of this sort in RP.
Hoping to catch more RP with you later on. :) |
| 4. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Fubar on 7/8/2006 2:14:20 PM To Iretya Anm'anir, for being a kickas* Tarikian and giving me my first experience with the darker sides of the Elves. |
| 5. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Fubar on 7/11/2006 9:25:32 AM I'd like to give a Shout to Fubar [EuroKurd], for being such a fun guy to Roleplay with. Right backa t you, mate. You beat me in the shouting.
And, subsequently, for creating one of the most interesting (if violent) Monks I've ever had the opportunity of playing with. Ayn wouldn't hurt a fly.
...
Bwa-ha-ha.
No, but ... |
| 6. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Fubar on 7/25/2006 5:32:57 PM While Ayn doesn't share /my/ humor, Karli just keeps cracking me up. xD I love that character. |
| 7. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Fubar on 7/27/2006 1:46:32 PM My favorate part of the night is when three people failed their saving rolls vs. instant death.
*nods excitedly* These are the people we entrust our server to?! The so called fair, good DMs that care for the server and the players?
I say, overthrow these avatars, and take control over the server ourselves!
Vote for me, and I promise you all, players... Free XP, Uber items, And more ... |
| 8. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Fubar on 7/27/2006 4:38:34 PM Bah with you tyrants...
And on another note, thanks a lot Sinjin for a really enjoyable RP session. I'm glad their relationship was just formed, and I believe it can lead to many more stuff. Finally Ayn has someone to speak Philosophy, Ki and Martial Arts with. :) |
| 9. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Fubar on 7/31/2006 1:08:46 AM Thanks a lot to the Ranger for some very interesting, most-likely-very-affecting-IC-wise RP.
And again, I apologize for leaving suddenly... I'm you can't always expect RL to grab you away with no warning. |
| 10. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Fubar on 7/31/2006 6:17:24 AM Welcome to the world of an Arosian, no one ever suggested it was easy. Where's the fun and satisfaction with easy things? ;) |
| 11. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Fubar on 7/31/2006 1:22:24 PM Kudos to whoever scripted the Chess game - certainly one of the coolest and funnest things I've seen in NwN.
P.S.
Axon sucks at chess. |
| 12. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Fubar on 8/3/2006 1:11:33 AM Another note: Undreath was a disaster for our little party and poor Nidarren, but very EDUCATIONAL for me: I don't fear the spiders in the wood any more. ((i don't know if that's a good thing.)) Really? Heh, I think this is the first time I'm glad my brother took the computer from me when on Vives. |
| 13. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Fubar on 8/3/2006 6:19:08 PM Eli, I hope the driving lesson went okay (I'll still be suspicious of your driver; I'm certain he's never driven before in his life either) Surprisingly, it did. I ran down only 2 people and bumped only into three trees. *Blows some wind on his fingernails and brushes them against his shirt.*
But since then I had only time for one chess game, and ever since silly brothers having been harassing the computer, so barely ... |
| 14. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Fubar on 8/25/2006 9:51:16 AM Sam... I can't remember the last time I laughed so much in NwN.
You just made my weekend. Thank you. |
| 15. | Web comics? Posted by Fubar on 6/14/2006 6:55:07 AM The perfect solution (Which had me laughing like a little girl) made we want to read some more webcomics. At the moment, I'm only reading The Order of The Stick (which, btw, I just noticed has a new strip), and it's just not enough. :p
So, you guys have any good WC to offer?
Regards,

| 16. | Re: Web comics? Posted by Fubar on 6/14/2006 8:20:26 AM This is like a birthday!
Now a new problem arises, though! I have too many, and I don't know where to begin, so... Which one of these are better than OoTS? |
| 17. | Re: Web Comics Posted by Fubar on 6/14/2006 10:26:01 AM So... so many...
...where am I supposed to start...? :( |
| 18. | Re: Vives² Suggestions Posted by Fubar on 6/12/2006 5:13:54 AM I now I'm knew here, but heck;
I haven't seen too much of Vives to suggest anything "new", but I was wondering if Vives2 will not be an island? That way characters could come from beyond the land, and that can also help explain why new players might be really ignorant at times. :p Also maybe sometimes players might just want to create characters that come from small villages that don't appear on the world map and then they assume they don't exist and it creates a ... |
| 19. | Re: Vives² Suggestions Posted by Fubar on 6/12/2006 5:47:50 AM I don't see the use of drow here. Man, everyone can use Drow, if they're RP'ed properly. They simply can add so much fun. :D But heck, they're not crucial. |
| 20. | Re: Vives² Suggestions Posted by Fubar on 6/12/2006 6:06:49 AM they're not but elves who live underground. You don't need the black skin to roleplay properly. Nor do you need the abilities. Drow are beyond just the Black Skin and nice abilities, I love them for how intricate and unique their society is. You don't have anything even similar to that... anywhere, actually. :)
Sorry, though, I'm getting off-topic here. |
| 21. | Re: Vives² Suggestions Posted by Fubar on 6/12/2006 11:50:18 AM I actually don't understand that... I mean, really, the entire beauty with Drow is how they are backstabbing, cruel, relentless, ruthless, cunning, dark, sinister... the list goes on... The fun with them is how they function as a society - how the Priestess try to climb in ranks, how the Wizards play their tricks on one another, how the Matron Mother pulls the strings on everyone - it's partly about playing with other Drow, and not playing a Drizzit, which in that case you really are, ... |
| 22. | Re: Vives² Suggestions Posted by Fubar on 6/19/2006 8:44:13 AM And since there won't be any drow, can we also remove mostly other typical critters? The two I'm mainly thinking of here are illithids and beholders. Yes perhaps they're fun opponents, but it makes little sense to have them. Why? I don't know much of the History behind it, but I don't really think Illithids and Beholders are related to the Drow, other than them all living in the Underdark/Beneath the earth. Someone that knows mroe care to ... |
| 23. | Re: *Gasp!* Posted by Fubar on 6/27/2006 3:59:25 AM Just two?
Hmm. Disappointing. True. :\ I wasn't hoping for something excessive, but it IS the final book, and there ARE plenty of annoying characters. >:( j/k |
| 24. | Re: *Gasp!* Posted by Fubar on 6/27/2006 4:00:55 PM But to bx fair I did enjoy the Goblet of Fire (as far as I've read in the series) much more than the first two and I expect good things from the last three as well. Of course - starting from the fourth book you can actually see a plot forming, instead of just random events in Hogwarts (supposedly). |
