Everyone has differing opinions on what would make a living breathing economy work... but the main problem that prevents any of it from working, is that it's all just theory until put into action and the reality of the thing reveals if it works the way you think it will.
But it's never going to work the way you think it will... NEVER. look at how the government tries to "manage" the real world economy... they try all these different things to stimulate the economy.. but ... |

So, with this reunion of sorts going on and all... and going back and reading through the forums, I have come to realize a few things.
1) I really miss the creativity of this community. The things you people thought up... and then presented in character on this stage for the rest of us... fantastic!! Vives was not my only RP server, there were a few before it, but it was certainly the one I felt the most at home with, and was much more a part of... to the point I even became a DM. ... |

And I'm inclined to agree with the Narenia and Calmeir as well, about the low levels... but only to a point. yes, the lower levels are much more interesting, and fun.. but only if we could be auto set to, I don't know... level 5, right from the start. levels 1 through 4 are crap (I don't know if it's specifically up to lvl 4, but the first few are... and it rounds up nicely ... |

So now it comes down to either trying to predict possible player/PC responses/actions and write out possible consequences or turns that it can take because of them... or if nothing else, having the "conditions of victory" laid out, as you see it going....?
