I'm having serious problems with IRC.
If I use the version I downloaded it simply wont let me connect anymore and if I use the HTML interface it keeps disconnecting me periodically.
Any ideas would be welcomed. Thanks |

Big shout out to the following people (or characters as I dont know their names).
Calia, Claudia, Alton, Vurbag, Garrak, and the others who were there tonight whose names I cannot remember.
It was good to see the inner workings of a group with a common purpose and divided loyalties. I enjoyed it. Sorry about the TS. Didnt want anyone get hurt. Especially the little ones who think they are right sized.

There were only about 4 or 5 PC's around to witness all this, but we put them through a lot! Poor old Johe in the seven sisters! Dont think a character has ever respawned twice when already in the seven sisters! *chuckles evilly*

And yes, a big thank you to the DMs for this. Unfortunately as you may have noticed I can no longer really play IG for hours at a time so I can usually only join in bits here and there. But I truly enjoyed the part I was involved in, including shouting at the big group who just let their scarred friends cower in a corner ... |

((Just an aside note, personally I think that what Vives lacks is player run guilds as it brings life to the world and gives a purpose to the characters and encourages RP, as demonstrated below.
That said I understood that they were not permitted. Has this changed? |

On the late afternoon of that first day, they had headed along the coast road towards Port Royale. On the way they met two young elves who explained that they had heard of an insect infestation in a nearby cave and been asked to clear it out.
Absolutely great story. Its an amazing read, with great detail and prosaic talent. I feel somewhat put in place with my meager attempts.

47. You talk so dang much about the game that your girlfriend (who has never even heard of roleplaying and never stepped foot in Vives) would know her way around with her eyes closed.

Now either this is getting eerie or Im going/ am insane (or incidentally both).
I am sure someone posted on the board recently about a party which included a Cleric of the Money God and a Half-Drow, to which i replied that the God was Waukeen and that I thought it was odd that a party for which I was DMing for had the same two characters and that despite my thoughts that this was an unusual combination it is clear that its actually quite common.

He was the first person I think I ever met when I came to Vives.
I went into P&J's Tours looking for just that to which he directed me into the "capable and trustworthy hands" of Fri'el "who would surely take me anywhere I wanted to go and look after me".
I dont know what it was, perhaps the promise from Fri'el not to eat me, but I decided to go alone.!!!!
