Remembrances

This is just a place for people to remember old friends and comrades, seeing as how I typed a goodly amount about a friend, then had to get rid of it. So, anyone that wants to post about old friends and old stories, post 'em here.

(This does actually lead into Vives, just give it a bit of time)

Alulas was a good friend of mine. We met in the Lands of Lore, he was the first one I met. I threatened to kill him (gee, how suprising :P) and (naturally) we became best friends. We were some hard-core RPers, and we believed firmly that the half-orcs were the spurn of mankind. Granted, they were level, oh 20, and we were, ahhh... 5. But we didn't care. We believed (and I still do, I eventually lost contact with him over the summer :\) that level shouldn't matter.

We waged a holy war on the half-orcs. We bribed many a newbie into giving us keys to Dench. We recruited an elven army (they were all level 5 or less, by then Tasra was 13ish with some nice insta-kill spells, and Alulas was 11ish [if I recall correctly]) and we invaded Dench. At first nobody was there. We ambushed a few lower levels, and gloated over the easy kills. Then a level 15ish came in, and ran back out, screaming to all the high levels. They thought we were more of an army than we were, so they run to the level 20 elves to come and help them kill us. Naturally, they came. We were quickly over come by their army, but not Tasra, and not Alulas. We got the hell out of Dodge city. (Or, more like, Dench hovel), only to be ambushed by our elvin comrades.

They demanded our keys to Dench, and naturally, we gave them them. They let us walk. We had about 10 keys more each :D (I still have them on the LoL server, if anyone wants them :P) But we had wanted to goto his house. I started the spell to transport us there, but we were ambushed by assassins set out by the orcs. It was hellish. The spell misfired, and we ended up in Vives. The assassins were drow.

Whilst in Vives, we did many a thing. We attacked (and were killed by) the dwarf Gilmi. I can't remember for the life of me why, but it had something to do with his ox. *Shrugs* Soon, however, things started happening. Drow attacked us constantly. In Midor, up from the sewers, in Port Royale, up from the sewers, wherever they could get us. They eventually captured me, and took me to their lair. (Which happened to be Hell untill the DM [I think it was Fen] could find a better place for me)

I heard of what happened. Alulas killed some innocents in Paws, who happened to be drow assassins. The gaurds knew this not, and he was a wanted man. He hid for many long years. Finally, I made it out of the drow city, by some fluke, and we continued our adventuring. He told me of a place he had discovered, and we wanted to make an elvin city there. He led me there many a time, (I died often at other cases, and I was very frustrated, so I asked Ara to trap up the place and make it full of monsters we couldn't kill, just so Alulas would die for once), and showed me the many things about this place. It was a part of the Port Royale Sewers, though nothing inhabited it. A surveyer didn't even knew the place existed!

Well, we went in, and in my first twenty paces, I set off a trap, die, and Alulas sees a ghost and runs off. I die again, and he lives... again.

Why is it funny? I don't know, but it was something interesting that happened sometime about half a year ago or so. Another one of Fen's crazy quests, though I have no clue whatsoever how it turned out. So Fen, if you read through this, please tell me what happened at the end!

That's odd... I distinctly remember the ox standing over our corpses. Maybe I threatened to kill the ox too? *Shrugs*
