A funny thing happened in Hellgate...
I materialize at Jusin's wagon. I take a step. Nearby rat turns hostile and attacks me. My toon barehands it without command from me. Suddenly, Jusin, his ox, nearby dogs, neighborhood drunkards all start attacking me. I have to desperately exit the city, then figure out how to get back in without people trying to kill me.
Then, a funny thing happened in Icy Vale...
I head over to Natalie Thorn to get a ride out, when a nearby badger randomly goes aggro on my leg. Again, my toon reflexively red-mists the little bugger, and suddenly Natalie and all her warhounds are trying to kill me, as is a nearby horse. I run to Whipsnade Pass, but when I appear in the new area one of the warhounds is already there and I kill it. I run up to Rita, realize I don't want to go anywhere she'll take me, then head back down. Natalie is there, raining arrows down on my dome. I run back to Icy Vale, where I take out yet another warhound before I get safely back into Twiddle's Boardinghouse.
Needless to say, I think the factions need to be a adjusted a mite. |

Or you just need to stop killing those poor defenseless animals. What did they ever do to you... aside from the biting, and clawing, and what have you.
Hmm.. having considered this further, I second VK's motion.
Had both situations happen to me, and I saw it happen to Salt once with the badgers also. |

| That sounds like a bad dream. |
All Rincewind could manage to say was, "You know, I never imagined there were he-dryads. Not even in an oak tree." Durellae Snorted "Stupid! Where do you think acorns come from?" . . . (Terry Prachett, "The Color of Magic") |
