Undead Army Threatens Midor?

*An excerpt from the Midor Daily*
Last eve was a frightening experience for the good citizens of Midor. Undead. Thats right undead scaled the very walls of our own city and ran amok in the streets while our brave soldiers battled a horde of the walking dead just out beyond our gates. The undead sadly took the lives of 9 guardsmen in that attack and took hostage the High Justice Griffin himself. Fortunantly for the good citizens of Midor, valient heroes were on hand to help cleanse the city of this undead filth and undergo a daring rescue of our beloved judge. Among them was Walin Bannion and Merum Widt the world renowned adventurers as well as a new order of knights who have pledged alliegance to the city. As a result of their brave actions, many of our own townspeople were saved from a gruesome fate.
Unfortantly this reporter has learned from an inside source that this event was not an isolated incident. Apparantly there is a major power behind this undead attack that intends to raise an entire army of undead to sweep away our fair city. We must be ever vigiliant against this new threat and I urge any who have more information on these events to speak with the Midor Daily so that you the good citizens of Midor may stay informed.

| There was an undead *thing* with a polearm of some sort... He kept trying to get me to join his forces, but I kept refusing... Each time I killed him, he re-appeared somewhere nearby! Is he the cause of all this?! |

You are nay worthy of the blessings of the Dark Lord..You fight, and you build walls, and towers, and arm thine soldiers..but it your petty efforts shall nay stop the flood.. accept death, come to it and IT shall reward you...I shall reward you..and we shall walk together, as sisters, and harvest the souls of the unworthy, and place them at the feet of our glorious god!.. and we shall grow fat and happy on the souls of the unworthy..

This day has seen the city of midor come under attack by the vile forces of the undead once again. They brought with them darkness and a desire to destroy the most precious gift of the mother...life itself. Many heroic actions saved the city this day. The midor guards at the gate fought with honour and fulfilled their duties and should be commended. Fri'el, Loli, Dias, Vandle,Ysmael,Quillian and Gromnir fought these evil forces valiantly and drove them away from the city of midor. They to should be commended.
These are dark and evil days. It is known these are not random incidents. It is known a powerful evil seeks to restore its legion long since fallen. It is known that this war has only just begun. We won a battle today but there is a long way to go to end the threat. With research, determination and the heroic actions of brave individuals such as this day and in battles of the past, we will prevail. This vile enemy of life will be destroyed.
