Biography & Journals of Leanne Scarlett

Leanne Scarlett is a young human female. She is has only recently turned 18 years of age. Raised in the sleepy village of Bruckshire, Leanne had a natural talent for magic. She was taught by the towns mage along with other giften youngsters. By the time she was 17 she could cast Cantrips confidently. She recieved the nickname of "Lightning" Scarlett when she first began her learning. An incident occured, where by she was supposed to cast "Light" on her teacher, but somehow instead got a Lightning bolt. She had only just finshed her trails when the end of the world nearly occured and magic went wild.
Leanne is a thin, pretty looking human female (Cha 10). She is fairly tall at 5 foot 8, and Light wieght. She has long golden hair, that is well maintained and smooth. Leanne takes great pride in her appearance, likeing to remain clean and wearing good clothing. She has a taste for expensive fashion, and has rejected the traditional Garb of Wizardess's. She most often wears a Black and White Exotic Suite that she believes makes her look sophisticated. She also sometimes enjoys wearing beachwear. Her eyes are gold, a result, gift and reminder of the trails she had to take. Although they do not grant her any extra seeing or perception, they do tend to flare up and cool down with her mood.
Shortly after the trails, the near ending of the world occured. Her teacher was one of the casualties. In the time following, there was tension in her house, as the wild magic had greater effect on her spell casting. She was yelled at alot by her parents when her attempt to cast a flare so they could see a Cow resulted in the animals death. Fed up, Leanne ran away from home, with no real goal in sight, but she decided that the life of an adventurer would be perfect for her.
Leanne is a confused bundle of unemotion. One often cant help but feel there is something sinister about her. She is very smart, although very Naive, gullible and completely innocent. (WIS 8). She tries to remain quiet and reserved, but often cant help herself. After all do teenage girls do anything other than talk? Although very subtly, she is heavily influenced by those around her. She will often match them in enthusiasm and attitude unknowlingly. Sometimes someone can leave a lasting impression on her.

"I have been on the run for only a few days now. I have made it as far as the Four Winds Tavern and have been staying there. Today I met my first adventurers. They took me out for a trip into an abandoned ruins filled with Minotaurs and Balliskiks. What an introduction to the world outside of Bruckshire! I have continued to study my art, and have even managed to self teach myself many spells. Unfortunately wild magic prevents me from using my magic in the world, and so i must tread carefully.

Leanne continued to explore the lands about her. She visited the coast and went as far as Port Royale. She met a Woman named Marrya. Marrya the Seamstress in the Armani clothing shop. Marrya was kind and strong, she offered Leanne a a small deal. She showed her how to make Glass Flasks, in exchange for her services as her personal Flask Supplier, Marrya will pay her a substansial amount of money.
"I have befriended Marrya, a seamstress. She is strong willed and authorative, a real presence indeed. She may prove to be an invaluable ally, particuarly as I have taken on the task of supplying her with Glass Flasks. I have now spent several weeks at Mystique Island. Each day I go out to the beach and gather more sand, clean out the pesky Parrots, and relax on the beach- soaking up the sun and swimming with Ravaj. Soon I shall have to leave this paradise, as get to morek refining this sand nad making Flasks."
Leanne made the required amount of Flasks, then decided to continue to explore the world around her. She noticed a change, her magic began to work, it was stronger than ever before, and she grew in confidence somewhat. She made her way to Midor, where she met and befriended a Strange Elf, who seemed more animal than elf. He told her his tale of his stolen friend. Leanne offered her services, and the Elf decided that he would join her in the hopes that thier travells may lead them to his friend. They went through Paws and ended up in Buckshire. It was there she met several adventurers, including Mikayla and Tomi.
"This creature, this Elf I travell with is as mysterious and unique as the nature of Magic. He seems to be very proper and careing, but at the same time, primitave and somewhat savage. He sniffs, crawls on all fours, barks, growls, and yet can walk calmly through town like a noble citizen. I promised the adventurers I met I would look out for him."
The Elf grew tired, and told Leanne that she should continue her exploration of the surrounding area without him. and she did. She visted every area around Buckshire. She avoided an encounter with a pack of hungry wolves, explored the forest and came across a Lake with a Mage tower.
Eventually her journeys took her back to Midor, where she explored the city. She met Mikayla several times, and found Mirrya. Mirrya was more than generous in her payment, and encouraged Leanne to return 'home' to port Royal. She went to do this when she was jumped by bandits in the docks. She managed to summon Ravaj before she fell, and he must have carried her to safety. After some more exploration of Midor, she got the courage to go to the docks again, where she hoped aboard the ferry with no incident.
"People keep saying that the Magic was still wild and unreliable. For quite some time I did not believe them, as all my spells work flawlessly. Then however I discovered that they were right. My mage staff that I used to summon Ravaj no longer summons him. Instead a female Panther named Sophie answeres my summon. Perhaps the two are related somehow, and Sophie seems to indicate so. I wonder if I will see Ravaj again? Sophie is not as agressive as Ravaj, but she is a bit smarter in combat. I continue to scour shops for affordable scrolls, ever increasing my spell collection. My power is growing, I am able to remember more spells everyday, and have managed to aquire a few useful Items to assist me."
One day while resting at the Four Winds Inn, she met a women named Shia. Shia was rowdy, violent and aggressive. Leanne was convinced that such a fighter would be an invaluable asset to her, as nothing is more powerful than combining Steel with magic. Leanne could not help but admire Shia, and emulate her cool attitude. They headed for the Cave along the coast. Leanne had been inside once, but did not get far before she ran out of spells. She hoped that with Shia they could together explore the whole thing, and perhaps find some rumoured treasure. The two recieved a warning from Tomi, but Shia was addimut that they needed no help. The two did not get far before they were overwhelmed by extra tough Beetles. One struck Shia down, and tried to feast on her corpse, so Leanne shot it with her Crossbow, and then tried to run but was trampled over. The two managed to drag thier sorry bodies outside, where someone must have found them and delivered them to the Seven Sisters.
"She is very cool, this Shia. Tough, confident taking no feces from anyone. I can't help but be inspired by her, and perhaps one day I will extrude such confidence...."
She continued exploration, crafting and shopping, meeting Tomi, Mikayla and Marrya as well as some other adventurers, including Cora the Halfling, someone quite mysterious who spoke little and whos values were confusing for Leanne to understand.
She met an old Mage, Vallkir (i think), who finally took her to the Mage tower on Ka'zzam (i cant spell). He offered her praise and warning about the world they inhabit. they discussed Life, death, time and knowledge. He was quite impressed, and offered Leanne something she could not refuse: to be his apprentice, to learn the art of the forbidden Knowledge of Necromancy and Divination. Leanne accepted, happy to have found a capable teacher.
She came across Mikayla once again, who was heading into the Sewers, convieniantly as Leanne was also heading for them, and joined up to hunt treasure in Crypts below the City sewers. She found a few items of medicore worth, before an undetectable trap fried them all. Leanne can not remember how they got out and back to the seven sisters.
"I think i died. As I lie now in my bed and recover, I try to remember what happened.... Mika said not to touch anything, the Elf said to Wait, we both ran in and then... only darkness. Mika is taking it really hard. She is the closest thing to a Big Sister I have had, and so I must help her. "
Leanne confronted Mikayla outside of Port Royal, and convinced her, with much difficulty, to not give up on her life, to stay with her and to help find her place. The two shared a Coffe, at Cafe Del Mar, where they discovered a horrible plot. Valkir was a manipulative coward. He had apprently take Mikayala to the the mage tower, offered to share his knowledge, and abanndond them- or intentionally trapped them- in a dangerous cave, wher Mikayla's friend, Freya may have fell, as she has not been seen scince. The two declared eachother Sisters- family- and swore vengance. They plotted to expose the manipulator, and decreed that for the moment, this was thier place.
"What the fool I have been. Valik would train, use and discard me like an old Wand of Missiles, just as he tried to do with Mikayla. No one played me for a fool.... and yet, yet I cant help but wonder if he is worth more alive, clearly more knowledgable in the arts I could learn much from him, and become very powerful.... perhaps that is what I will do. No need to seek vengance against someone who has yet to harm me, and is able to help me out." |

Leanne and Mikayla continued to spend time together, travelling, training and shareing stories. Until nidarran encountered them in the alley way to the Guyvers store. He seemed nervous, anxious and especially suspicious of Leanne. He did however know Mikayla, and spoke of a 'thing' that they needed to get. Mikayla expressed her sadness to the situation, as the man did not treat her well, and Leanne offered to Cast baleful Polymorph on him, jokingly. They also encountered another man, who was apparently eavesdropping. Even if he wasnt, his strange appearance gave him a dark and unnearving feeling to Leanne, who decided then and there that this man is not to be trusted. Mikayla left to finish her quest, and Leanne decided to work on her next shipment of Flasks. After that, she went to Midor and explored the East side and center of the City. She feels herself getting stronger all the time, and this makes her happy.
"That man, nidarran is an odd fellow. I have met him before, but for some reason he seemed really tense. His eyes darted as if expecting attack, he studied me up an down, but not because of how i look. He was gruff and rude, a few simple words. Poor Mikayla. Just when My big sister was feeling happier, a ghoast of the past appears to whisk her away. She did not want to discuss it and I understand perfectly. I allowed her to go without protest, as it is better she cleans up her mess and forget it forever, rather than hold on to it and let it fester. While she is gone i will continue to produce Flasks and visit Midor again, as there is still a large part of the city I am yet to explore." |

Leanne yet back up with Mikayla and the two journeyed back to Midor, to investigate a place that she had discovered. They spent the night at the Unicorn Inn. When she woke up the next morning, Mikaylin had already left. Leanne assumed her Big Sister had gone ahead and so she headed to the place. An abandond mansion, requiring the picking of a few locks and entering through a hatchway in the basement. She climbed down the ladder and heard a voice, a girl crying for help. Cautiously she summoned Sophie and a Dire wolf, then proceeded forth. She got to a door where it seemed to be comming from. Carefully Leanne opened the door and entered. A huge creature hidden just inside reached across and maulled her, ripping her clothes. Sophie Pounced and Wrestled with the creature, while the summoned Dire Wolf did battle with the other creatures. Leanne spoke a few words and cast invisablility on herself and ran off. She felt her self fatigue and fade when Sophie was killed. Fortunately Leanne made her way out. She ran all around searching for Mikayin, to no avail, she headed for the Ports and caught the ferry to Port Royale. Sore, Injured and fatigued she made her way to the the edge of the docks and fell.
"Who knows how long I lay there.... unconscience. I rose dizzy, in the presence of 4 others. One was Marrya. The other was a man named Garron. There was also a Gnome, and Freya. I told them what happened, then made my way to the bathing house to get cleaned up. There I found my Sister. We talked about it while bathing. We heard some scratching from the wall and knew the peeping tom had returned."
Rashly, and against Leanne's advice, Mikalyin ran out to catch the Peep. Leanne felt this was foolish, as she knew that would only mean he knew they were onto him. Still, Leanne followed her sister into the sewers, and as anticipated, the peep had left long before the duo got thier.
"Against my advice, Mikaylin ran out the room to catch him, and as I knew, he had gone when we got thier. Mikaylin then ventured further into the Sewers where we talked to the Gnome designing the place. He was reluctent, poor, smelly and a bit crazy. He acted as if he knew more, so we tried everything to get the truth: We asked nicely, Offered payment, and even threatened at point blank range. Nothing. I had a feeling the runt knew nothing, and eventually we left. "
Outside the pair met back up with Garron and Marrya. It turns out Garron and Freya actually ventured to the place.... and the crying girl was a ruse. Still tired, Leanne and Mikaylin went for rest at the bathrooms. Leanne however did not sleep long, and wandered out in her pijamas and met back up with Marrya and Garron. Marrya however had other things to do- the seamstress was always hard at it. So after getting changed, Garron and Leanne ventured to Nebwood, where there was supposedly medicine for a person back in the port. At first they only encountered Grigs and Pixies. They came across a Temle, and Faught some Gargoyles. Inside however was a different storey. They did not get far in when sever Skeltons animated and attacked. They ran, but Leanne was convinced they should return.
"At first I was scared they would be too much for us, but then I'm sure I saw my Dire Wolf take one down on my way out. So I suggested we go back and check it out. I cast invisibility on Garron so he could investigate. It didn't help and as he ran out, several skeletons followed, one got a heavy hit on me as I ran. Sophie and my summon held them at bay, however Sophie must have been struck down because I fell into instant unconscienceness mid way. I again awoke in the Seven Sisters. I guess those Rangers must have found us, I say us because Garron was also there. "
The two deicided it was time for some R&R, and Leanne took him to Mystique Island. THey swam and drank and talked through the night..... |

The next few days were quite interesting. They started out pretty boaring. Leanne awoke and departed from Mystique, leaving Garron there in the knowledge he was safe. She then made her way for some more crafting, and joined in a campfire story telling session. there she met a halfling, a mage a possible cleric and a Sorcerer. she met Marrya several times and sold her the latest batch of Flasks, and some Cougar skinns she had aquired while expploring the areas around Bruckshire more.
"Everyday I feel I get to know this land better. It is a good feeling. My skills are improving along with my confidence...."
Leanne was busily shopping when Mikaylin showed up. Marrya was there also, and the two sisters decided to have a look into the Mines in the Port Royale. THe venture went well enough, until, in her desire to fight, Leanne was too close to a Fireball that exploded on Mikaylin. Mikalyin fought on bravely and carried Leanne out to the Seven Sisters. She recieved treatment form Nidarran and was left to rest as Mikaylin declared herself useless and ran off once again.
"Mikaylin, my dear Sister spirit has left me again. As I lay here, unable to move much, fresh out of the oven covered in bandages, her Last words will echo in my head: "Don't come and find me". But I cannot obey. I must stick by her. Nidarran walks by to check by progress.... I nearly feel strong enough to get up...."
Leanne did get up, and cried to Nidarran. He told her he would look into it. Leanne decided not to miss this opportunity. She cast Invisibility and followed him to the Broken tower by the bay. Leanne crawled into a ball and listened. She heard everything. When her Invisibility was about to fade, she stood right in front of them, crossed her arms and remained silent. For the first time, her unique gold eyes showed thier colors, flareing and literally looking like they were on fire. Soon they were joined by two others.
"The whole encounter is a blurr to me now. I can barely remember what happened, and who was involved. A man who only smirked from the wall, and an elf, Elimier I think. I remember I also revealed all. Including what I thought of him. I was so angry and upset. I held her, then myself and Crossbow point, and then attempted to wipe us all out with a spell. Both times I was stopped by dear Sophie. That Panther is my saviour. She protected me, from them and from myself. I do not like or trust the Nidarran. He keeps secrets, walks in shadows and plots. I fear he has something terrible planned for my Sister Spirit. Imagine what I felt when he wanted to speak to me alone. I feared for my life, fortunately Sophie was there, and I summoned the Dire Wolf just incase. Eventually I saw the no win situation and gave up...."
Leanne was told to leave for a sec. Instead, as she has done before, she ran away. As far as fast as she could.
"Sophie... It is time to run again I said. We have not stopped scince. I plan to go to lake Ladriel, then perhaps loop back and find refuge where no one goes, either Mystique Island, my home away from home, or the Mage Tower of Ka'azzal (again spelling) to study and learn. I'm not sure when and where I should and will reveal myself again to anyone familiar with me...." |

In the days following she ran all about the land. Through Midor, Paws and Brandibuck. She stayed a night at Lake Ladriel then continued to look for an avenue of escape. This lead her too the Elvan lands, which she thouroughly explored, but was asked to leave by the Elves. She then decided to head back home to Bruckshire, and gathered all sorts of Plants and things from the distant lands. She Tinkered, Hunted and Cured HIdes, Molded and made spidersilk bowstrings for some reason. She then headed back out to Paws, where she is currently hiding out while practicing her skills on the Loom. During the whole Trip she encounterd Juylia(spelling?), Marrya once and was found by Mikaylin, although she left as quickly as she appeared.
"I have only been found once, which good I suppose. My days in exile a boaring, I seem to just walk around, collect stuff then try to craft it into something.... without much success. I wonder when I will meet Vikrall or another mage to further my education of the art?" |

Leanne then soon after encountered Vikrall. The two had a lengthy discussion and Vikrall decided to teach young Leanne his art. He lead her to a Grave yard where he deminstrated and tought her the ways of the Dead and the Undead. ((As a result, she has taken a level of Pale Master)).
"Vikrall is a good teacher, but then I am a quick learner. Already I can feel the power of this Knowledge inside of me..."
A few days later, Mikaylin found her- though it was a coincidence. Mikaylin could feel the changes in her Little Sister, and talked to her about what was happening, in an attempt to lead her down the right path. It worked for the moment, as Leanne soon returned mostly to her former attitude, and forgave her Big Sister for what happened. Mikaylin lead Leanne to an interesting place, a hall of enchanting pools in the Bruchshire ruins. They were also joined by Encara the Paladin. |

The next day would mark a change. A dramatic turn around not expected. After a few mindless hours of Crafting, Leanne met up with Marrya and Tomi. They spoke of the Gods. Leanne had never thought about the topic much. She knew of their existance, but never really had the time to appreaciate them. Her studies saw her never seeing thier handiwork, and thus she favores no God, or all Gods. She always figured that because of thier status and form, they cared little about any one particular mortal, and thus wouldn't care if she did not follow any or followed all. That changed. In typical fashion a Lightning bolt hit the ground in front of her. It hardly took her by surprise though, she merely looked up and said 'Wow, I guess there was a good reason they call me Lightning Scarlett'.
Then a voice carried in the wind, whispering in her ear. It warned her. It laughed. Leanne thought she was going crazy, and summoned Sophie for Aid. The Panther merely Yawned and looked at her as she talked to herself. The voice revealed they had something in common.... and dissapeared when Marrya and Tomi came across her again. She then made her way to Midor, to search the Midoran Library for information on the dieties and figure out which one it may have been. Just as she figured it out, Mikaylin, who seems to read Leanne like a book, found her.
After a bit of Lecturing from Mikaylin, Leanne managed to tell her. Mikaylin was tough, strong, wise and everything Leanne was not. She saw it as a personal test, and vowed to stick by Leannes side to fight it out. Leanne was left confused. She wanted power yes, she wanted it sooner rather than later as well. But Mikaylin, who had always been there for her has shown her that the long way is the safets and most rewarding. Just as a safe mesure Leanne has decided to stay within Midor, knowing that Midorans shield over his city would at least protect her from anything Nasty the Diety of the Undead may plan to do to her upon knowing she would refuse to worship or join his cause. |

| Leanne is still Alive and acive. The past weeks have past with little excitement, unless you count the Spectre that she saw that just kinda floated around and ran off. Leanne suspected it wanted her to follow, but she also knew it could be trick of Guk, and her resolve has been set and yet to be broken by Mikaylin. |

Leanne is now walking the world of Vives at large again.
She has met many new folks, and become reaquanted with some old ones. Some of the old include Dana and Tomi. Some of the new include Talion, Kaltar, Annes'seh and Fennigan. Something Different is Frobozz. And something blue? well I guess thats Frobozz again (his loincloth is blue).
Leanne has made a fast and deep connection with the quiet, shy and Mysterious Annes'seh. She has been there to comfort and help her when she can as best she can. Leanne believes she is growing a connection with the young elf, and believes that with time and patience Annes'seh will awaken to the world around her.
Through Annes'seh Leanne met Kaltar Woodwalker. Leanne tried to help spark a relation ship between the two, though in the end Annes'seh decided she could not love him. Since then, Kaltar has been overly Flirtatious, Compliment-giving and a bit.... enthusiastic? Leanne considers him a friend and nothing more for the moment.
Leanne's first impression of Talion? she herself cant really say what she thinks of him as she was too busy haveing a crush on his shiny red armor. several witnesses can verify: If you have nice shiny armor, Leanne will most likely flirt and/or hit on you... unless your ugly face offsets it *wink*
Frobozz.... Leanne prefers to have No comment or thought on the mad mage who only wears a loin cloth and is obsessed with Turnips.
Midor: Leanne now feels uncomfortable even mentioning the place. Her recent trip to Paws was a real strain, however as her hate for what they are doing is against her Chaotic nature.
The Magistry: Leanne has heard rumours about this 'Magistry' and now actively seeks them out, hopeing to learn more, and perhaps find a master willing to take her on as an apprentice. |

Not much has happened.
Kaltar continues to make advancements on Leanne, "oogling" some could describe it as. Leanne isnt overly interested, taking the attention with her usual stoicism. She would not seek a relationship due to Kaltars previous and failed attempt on Annes, who Leanne considers a good friend.
Was invovled in a heated debate/ conversation about Midor. Leanne stands against them, being Chaotic in Nature she morally opposes what they are seeking to do. And being a Mage helps her oppose them as well. |

Has heard the recent rumours about the big announcement to made buy Vidus of midor. Leanne has decided that, instead of simply gaining the knowledge second hand, to attend and discover what she can herself.
Her decision to go there was not influenced by or for the Majistry, the order in which she recently registered herself in the hopes of finding a Master.
THe night before the big day, she had a kind of 'date' with none other than Prince Charm-Me himself, Kaltar Woodwalker. As usual, the good Sir Kaltar paid her a compliment everytime he spoke, most of which would make an ordinary gal go bright red. Leanne, however, is immune to those kinds of charms. Kaltar spoke of his homeland and his past, and they both shared the story of how they met the Enigmatic Annes'seh, before retireing. Not without a goodnight peck on the cheek first ofcourse.
Leanne is now less amused by Kaltar, and begins to wonder if his compliments are more than him simply being a gentleman. She is unsure how she feels about him, as she has never considered him anything more than a friend. Afterall, she'd much rather have the dashing young Talion with his sickly shiny red armor- and she isnt yet aware of his involvement with the Majistry.
She has not seen her other friends- Fennigan, Annes'seh in a few days now, and wonders how they are doing. |

On the big day, she received a Letter from the Majistry, saying to meet with Talion so they can gather information together.
Vidus appeared at length and made his grand speech. He introduced a new clergy, saying they would be the word of Midor, and, starting with the slums of thier own city they would 'heal' the unfaithful.
Leanne had a feeling that he meant purge, and that these new clerics, with thier fancy name she cant remember, were really going to simply kill anyone who didn't fit Vidus's description of perfect. Mass Genoside, more like. He almost blatantly declared that all races except humans were to be killed off. At least, thats what can be assumed when he says only humans are worthy of Midor, followed by all unbelievers will be 'healed'.
She followed Talion back to his room in the Mirhgal Ranger's Lodge, where they spent the night before returning to Port Royale.
Leanne has recently recieved a letter, from Talion, personally requesting a meeting in Buckshire. She intends to meet him there and find out whats going on. |

Recent events have been most interesting for the Lightning Scarlett.
It started when Fennigan showed her a new toy of his.... an exploding barrel of blackpowder. Leanne couldn't help herself, and openly began to discuss ways of using these against Midor. At first is was just planting one along a patrol rought to kill a Sword, but then turned into a full fledged plan to destroy key buildings in Midor, with the joining in of a Femal Halfling called Ana and Orsk. Then another elf, the same mysterious monk one also came across them. Orsk managed to Gather a large supply of the barrels- about 6 or more.
Then Talion turned up. Suddenly Leanne remembered his letter and split from the conversation. Too her surprise, Fennigan did as well. Now Fennigan knows she is affiliated with the Magistry. He and Talion are the only ones.
She joined him on his mission to kill a Sword Enforcer. Her part was minimal, all she did was Buff him then run away. Although Pleased that she could help out, Leanne is a woman of action, and would sooner take an exploding barrel and detonate it herself.
Afterwards they met up in the Brandibuck logde before making thier way to Talion's Mirghul Lodge room where they said thier thankyou's and Talion gave a few Rewards for helping out.
After that they Made thier way to Buckshire, although Fennigan had to leave first and buy and alternate rought. Talion and Leanne made thier way across the Kobai desert. Talion showered Leanne with more gifts, though she knew that she would not be using most of them any time soon. She was however, glad she could see his shiny red armor again.
When they reached Buckshire, Talion had to split off to deliver his message and the recoverd Items.
Leanne made her way to the Four winds Inn where she found her good friends, Annes'seh and Kaltar, as well as another Elf, Valtherion and a female elf whos name she now forgets. She was shocked, surprised and relieved and happy to see that Annes'seh has awakened, becoming the Woman she always had the potential to be.
kaltar revealed they were growing close together, and Leanne was happy for him. Although she was unsure of this later and Annes and Valtherion declared they liked eachother and subtly flirted with each other.
Later they were joined but Fennigan, Nidarren, Cora and another Female Halfling. Cora had found a deck of hazards, and after much toil, Fennigan decided to draw the cards. The resut: He looked really shiny, then alot younger, though he now possessed a large sack of gems.

Events seem to be progressing at a steady pace.
Alot has happened, despite not having been there for some of it, her friends, namely Fennigan, Cora, Nidarren- and others including Orsk, Ophelia, Ayntharian have kept her well informed.
Through these poeple, with thier own conflicting views on situations, Leanne has been able to obtain her best estimate of the truth of situations.
Leanne was shocked at Fennigans (or as she likes to call him, Mister Flennigan or Fengo)sudden mood swing, although his new attitudes still dont conflict with her own, and she found it more ammusing than concerning.
She was also dismayed when she Talion informed her she was to be promoted in rank in the Magistry. She feels that she has not earned it, not doubting her abilities, but perhaps underestimating thier impact. She has been trying to make herself more useful to the cause against Midor by acting as an Agent, subtly picking up news and intelligence wherever she travels, including the city itsef.
Kaltar and Annes'seh seem to be having problems with thier relationship. Kaltar tends to be highly sensitive, and not very subtle about his feelings, while Annes'seh, who only recently came 'out of her shell' is confused and uncomfortable with the attention, especially with the addition of another Elf named Valtherion. Kaltar admitted to Leanne that his own feelings are confused with his love for another, a human. Leanne suspects that he is referring to herself, but as she does, she kept her suspicion to herself and advised kaltar as best she good in how to deal with human females in a general term. Most of her advice was 'depending on the person', and she was careful not to blantantly reveal her own preferrences, aside from cute with shiny armor which was already known to alot of people. Personally Leanne has little interest or time for relationships, and would prefer to see Kaltar and Annes'seh together, or at least sort thier feelings out once and for all, as she is growing weary of being the 'medium'.
Leanne had quite an lengthy discussion with Fennigan, Ophelia, Cora and later a few others including Ayntherian, Aklimn, Nidarren and Talion. Fennigan told how he went to Icyvale, where a woman named 'Aurora' showed him images of the future. She showed him that the world was going to end, a threat that was greater than Midoran or the Bloodsucking Sword. She said to him that 'time had to set it right'. She Refered to Vidus and the Inquisition Lady as King and Queen. She showed Images of the Righteous Knights Allied with a Red Dragon. She also showed him A Pink Dragon and a Woman with Wings who held the World together. Mister Fennigan could not recall the details accuratly or in the correct order, but the sum of it was that the world was falling apart, and that there was some kind of Artifact or Book in the Midor Library that could stop it. The 'deaths head' or some such.
Leanne quickly scribbled a Post-It note to The Lord Magister, Simply saying that she had discovered the threat second hand, and that Talion, who Fennigan said was present will provide a full report, if he had not done so already.
To her surprise, she recieved a Letter from The Magister, saying that he was impressed with her speed and work, and was promoting her again. Also she was told she was to assist Talion, and was reminded that his work in Midor is classified. Leanne still did not believe herself deserving of any accolades, and informed Solus of this in her reply, as well as her motivations for helping out, and requested a personal meeting with him to dispell the rumours she has heard. |
