All accross Vives, Tomi searches out those that hide like himself. That too, are effected by the mind control of The Gathering. As well he slips a note under the door of Jessup the Younger in his search to assemble a group willing to confront the illithids:

As ya knows, 'ese illithids fellas is takin everythin' we gots. I's gettin' folks ready ta make our way ta see 'em if'n we can. I knows ya gots tha quicklins handled, an' I'll b' tryin ta get a more 'xact time fer ya so ya can tell Eleanor an' all. We needs us a mage fella er two ta help wit' tha mind protections. Scrolls will work but as Cora said, 'ey take too long if'n things get ugly in der. We needs ta 'ave no mind protections while wes talkin' ta 'em, but be ready in case 'ey ain' in tha mood fer talkin'. So its gonna b' tricky. If'n ya has any mage fellas 'at owe ya a favor, nows tha time ta take up on it eh. Thank ya fer yer help, lemme know if'n ders anyfin I can do fer ya.

(( Preferably directly involved PC's, (SD's that have lost their gold ... or boots *coughs looking at Drogar*) I've been informed a huge group could get very tricky. Of course any mage most likely wont be directly linked, but still needed. )) |

WANTED: Group o' adventurin' types ta escort an item o' great power. Tha escort'll be from Maldovia to Fenghuul. Details o' tha item will be on a needs ta know basis, an' only ta those int'rested. I's lookin' fer strong mages in particular, spells 'at hold er can dominate others is prefered. However, anyone good wit' a blade will also be greatly welcomed. Fer details an' time o' tha escort contact Tomi Swiftfoot a' tha broken mask inn in Port Royale. Leave a mesage wit' Margaret if'n I ain' in.

"Hm..." Balthor stroked his beard slowly with his metallic arm, reading over the sign.
He had actually been doing quite a few things with his new limb, almost favouring it entirely over the right. He had become somewhat aware of the phenomenon, but passed it off merely as getting used to the new appendage, as a person would likely do when put into this peculiar situation.
In any event, the dwarf's mind was hardly on his metallic appendage and more on the possibility of adventure. Strong mages with spells that can hold or dominate others. That was almost his purpose in life, he had spent many years focusing in the enchantment school of magic, almost enough to forsake another "rival" school in its favour.
Still, the prospect of going to Maldovia, and moreso to Fenghuul, made the old wizard more than a little unnerved. He knew that going would mean vampires, quicklings, and illithids, and none of those things sounded particularly like a good time. And he had so much work! So much work to do, always busy, busy, busy, almost too busy to conduct his own business, leaving Dorian to shuffle around many of his wares.
No, he decided, shaking his head, I need some dang me time. He nodded in conviction and strode off to the Broken Mask, to have a chat with Margaret.
[ I'm available basically all week after Monday, but I work from 11pm to 7am EST every day so I might be tired or asleep. If you name an official time I will try hard to show. ] |
