Tha Ap Noscere Family

Good day to you all,
let me start by appologising, I am not a story telling Elf, I dont tell stories I leave that stuff to the bards, I was bullied into doing this by my sister. *gets hit by sister*
Any way. I only want to let you know a bit more about my family. first our name,
Ap Noscere, in the area we came from it is a tradition that all children carry there Fathers name. There our father is Noscere, he couldnt travel with us, he said he had a bone in his leg and couldnt move out of our woods. *giggles from Linit*
we all came here because it is the tradition of our clan that the seventh generation of the
family leaves the wood when they come of age.
There are four of us. First me, I am Colum I like to class my self as a protector the natural world and its inhabitents.
My brother Eimond is a servant of nature, he`s a druid.
My sister is Linit, she and Mandorn are both Sorcerers in traininggggggggg ggggggg ggggggg *Linit shoots Colum with a melf bolt*

one player, playing all four, though I do consider all four to be in the lands at the same time as each other, but you will probally only see one at a time (the others have other things to do ) :) |

This kind of concept has been done in Vives before, and to great effect. I look forward to seeing the results IG. Just please be sure to have read the following from the essential guidelines thread:
8) Characters. As much as possible your characters should never meet. Certain storylines have existed to great effect where this rule has been broken. But it should never, ever be done in such a way as to transfer items from one of your characters to another...even by means of a third party. All item transfers are recorded by the database, including dropping items as one character and logging in as another to pick those items up. Or selling to a merchant and then buying straight away as another character. Thankfully fairly rare in vives, but this -is- metagaming, please do not do it. And it should be obvious from the above, but your characters should never impart vital information about each other...ie one of your characters telling people that another of your characters is dead or the like.

No worries. It is just the imparting important info about each other that can be a very tricky aspect to playing four members of the same family. Such as when one of them has died somewhere. As a newer player, just wanted to be sure you were aware of any potential stumbling blocks. As I said, look forward to seeing the characters IG,

Maybe Colum was not realy clear, (given the fact that all four were in the same room is rare enough, it is hard to keep them in th same city realy)
What Colum did not mention is that they dont realy see eye to eye on almost everything, in fact, the only thing they have in comon is that they are all Elvin and that they are related, (though Mandorn would question that).
Colum is very much the loner of the family, easily bullied by Linit, he sees himself as a protector of the natural world. It is not uncommon for Colum to get in over his head, (Daily)
Eimond is a strange one, I dont know alot about him, he does not let his feelings show and does not talk alot.
Linit and Mandorn do not get on at all, both are Sorcerers and both beleive they are the more powerfull one.
Linit is very proud of her Elvin heritage and very confident, beleiving that she is superior to everyone who is not Elvin or a woman ( so if you are a none Elvin male, she probaly wont even see you, or it would seem that way)
Mandorn is quiet, has been known to get into arguments with his familior. He likes to craft and, word has it he has met someone who causes a tingling down his back, when he sees and talks to her. Something he swore would not happen sighting Linit as the reason he wants no involvment in the female creature as he calls them.
At the moment I can not say who this woman is as she does not know of Mandorns feelings. All I can say is that she is Elvin, ( Of course ) |

To all we have met in your beautifull land, we the children of Noscere thank you for your hospitality and friendship while we were in your land.
Unfortunatelly we have received word from our homeland which troubles us, our father has been struck down with an unknown malidy. We are returning home to be by our father in his time of need
Again we thank you all for the welcome we received in your land
You will be in our hearts and minds during these times, one day we will return.
