Win xp question Posted: 01 Dec 2004 01:46 PM |
Any one know what happens when your 30 day activation period runs out for win XP? My copy is on order, I installed a friends copy to trail it, see if I like it. Now my copy of xp is delayed and I'm worried what's going to happen.... EIKKKKKK
Oh By the way, will be back soon, lots of training going on for my stupid rubbish job, then I got ill and had a couple of weeks in bed, hehe. All better now though. |

What happens is your computer wont let you in windows, saying you gotta activate. Means you cant do a dang thing.
If it doesnt activate in 5 days, windows will install a virus that will destroy your motherboard. From there it will cause an overload on the computer which will cause a meltdown and the destruction of anything in a 10 mile radius. After that it will singal aliens to invade the planet, and crown Bill Gates as king.
This is all a very careful plot made by Bill Gates to rule the universe. Windows XP is now being spreaded to other planets in hope to bring utter destruction and chaos across the world of technology, and the universe will enter a primitive era of about ten million years before collapsing into a big black hole.
I'll stop babbling now. Only the first part is true, of course :P |

lol sorry very unhelpful comment from a completely un-technical person coming up : when I saw the post "win xp question" I thought it was a question whereby you could win xp (experience) for answering.

LMAO Win xp, that's a good one!
I'm using the home edition of win xp and my email is dslayertheredemption@hotmail.com. If you have anything that would help. As I say my win xp is on its way, so I may not even need it, but it's going to be a very close call.
And I wouldn't put it past Bill gates to have my computer meltdown and cause my whole street blow up. So can you still activate it even though your time has run out? That's fine, I will just have to read some books until I got my copy. Just don't want it blowing up my whole street. Actually, I have never met anyone from my street, Hmmm. |
