News from Ferein!

The illness of Queen Celebess Nénharma, wife of our dearly departed King Badhor Nénharma, continues to progress. The lone child of our previous king and Queen Celebess, the princess Sairalindë Nénharma, has now reached the age of one-hundred and twenty, therefore she will assume the position of royal leader of Ferein. Of course, the queen will endevour to aid Princess Sairalindë during this difficult ascension to the throne, as will all the members of the Elven Council.
Therefore, it is with great honor that I ask you to welcome her highness, the fair Princess Sairalindë, as she takes the throne of Ferein, the fifth generation of Nénharma to do so.
And, as always, our thoughts and prayers, to both The Mother and the Divine Archer lie with Queen Celebess.

I am adding some things to Ferein, as you might have guessed by the above post. There are some noble families in Ferein. The one known as Nénharma have ruled Ferein for over two-thousand years. This would be common knowledge for an elf raised in Ferein, as would the death of the King Badhor approximately 50 or so years ago.
The rest I'll let you find out in game. ;)

I must say this is one of the most wonderful areas IG. I simply love the design (ok maybe because in real life I am a treehugger (read forestry engineer)).

The big positive change especially in the Inner City and Tree-lined walkways are with some options that some people my not notice due to his/her graphic settings.
1) Skybox is now of sky and not shades green (which was a nice attempt at showing life in a sylvian forest canopy, but... was hard on the eyes), and
2) Second Story tiles no longer obstruct views as much. Before in the isometric view zoomed out a bit, you couldn't see anything but green stuff.
To notice those changes, the show Skybox option and never hide 2nd story tiles must be set. I'd suggest doing this at least once to take everything in.
Some of the buildings look "beautified" with some details added but I may be making this up. And at least two internal building maps are there that I'd not seen previously (Tower of Stars and... I think the Palace as well). Finally, there's someone named.... something Elfish...that looks to be setting up her market stand. I hope she sells arrows and bows and cool stuff that Elfs and Rangers and Druids of all races can use. Something along the lines of "Treehuggers-R-Us" or "Wee-Bee-Trees" "Stump Shooters Exchange" or something. |

A) Tower of Stars or Tel'Elena plus NPCs (Ka'azim you still have a long way to go before you can even think of getting close )
b) the most astonishing, breathtaking, marvelous, superb palace ever. With of course all NPCs included.

OK, I didnt see any of the NPCs except in the Tower of Stars but that was to get the history to Tel' Elena.
I shall take another look. It was probably me. |
