Kudos to Daimon Posted: 23 Mar 2004 03:17 PM |
Last night Daimon made a suit of Armor for Vaisha, and he RPed it beautifully, right down to taking measurments etc. Great fun! Just wish I had a bit more consciousness in me at the time.. it was 3am here and i was mostly asleep at the keyboard... but it was too fun to quit! (and yes.. back at work at 8am.. wheee)
With all the negative talk circulating the boards of late, i just want to inject a ray of sunshine. I think Vives is great. And it is full of talented folks that I look forward to interacting with whenever I can. There is no place I'd rather spend a chunk of free time than here, and that is a testament to this place. |

| Yes, I think I'll throw in my kudos as well. I found it refreshing and enjoyed how he roleplays weapon and armour smithing, rather then slinging various ores onto an anvil until a perfectly fitting suit of armour pops out (which would be especially surprising in Soapie's case). |

*looks around* ....
Thanks... It's nice to know you appreciated it. I'd like to play an important role in weaponsmithing... Because I'd like to think there is a lot more to it Than Making "Uber Loot" For all your friends. Sure I charge big prices, and I take longer than required with all the RP measurements and cross-tempers and such... but I prefer it that way.
I was just informed last night... after waiting a few weeks, that the DM's will not grant me my shop until some Economy issues are worked out... which is disappointing news... but it would be really nice if the Metalworks I work in were fitted with some extra equipment besides the essential CNR placeables.
for Example... a Bucket next to the Anvil that steams and smokes when Activated would be nice.... maybe a few desks and armoires floating around for temporary storage..... not to mention the nice Drawer sliding out animations while I "*Shuffles through some papers, remove various sheets and Measuring tapes*"
Just a few ideas for the DM's.... I'd love to see them get implemented.. along with several other things.... once approved.. I was hoping to get stuff like this in my shop... but after waiting.... I discovered my request was denied *Frowns* so it looks like I'll be working out of the Metalworks for a while longer. |

I would have to agree, Veran is an amazing role player and a lot of fun to play with.
You go Veran!

Yes - BIG kudos to Daimon!
He also made me a suit of armor last night (and it's only my 3rd day!) and did an exquisite job of RPing it. I hope to RP as well as he some day! |
