Daah's upcoming adventure Posted: 14 Mar 2004 10:52 PM |
Greetings Vives, A short note to let people know that my chars will be off on an adventure for approx. the next 7 months, starting on the 27th of March. I will be able to visit the forums occasionally, but with no regularity. I am about to embark on an adventure of a lifetime. I will be attempting to walk across the US, in an attempt to rally veterans to get active in this political season in the US. I will not belabor you, my friends, with a political diatribe on this site. However, I should have a site up next week, where you can follow my adventures if you have a mind to. With the permission of the powers that be, I will update this thread with a link to my website. So in a couple of weeks when you no longer see the likes of Dah-Jax-Nagi'...oops almost forgot the quiet one...Kangi, worry not, for they are off on a wonderous adventure with me.....

Sounds like a great excuse for a "going away" party, complete with ale, food, and much roleplaying of Jax's upcoming "great quest"! I'll bring the ale! |

Greetings all, Well the time for adventure grows nigh....I leave in four days and between then and now, my free time to visit with ye all shall be scarce. My website is up and will explain my absence from this world. (aveteranswalk.com/index.html) As I had said previously, I shall make an appearance here once in awhile but with no regularity until my return in November. Good hunting my friends, and remember to treat each other well.....

Saw your website and was intrigued, and while not having served in the armed forces, my father is a Vietnam Vet who was also wounded in combat. I thoroughly believe that the people that put their lives in jeapordy for our county, whether they believed in the cause of not, deserve the respect of the nation, and the promises that our country made to them. Good luck in this endeavor. Veterans shouldnt be forgotten...nor the sacrifices they made for their country and for eachother. |

Hi all, I am halfway thru California now (Sacramento) and besides having sore feet, am doing well. I miss my time with you all, but can see from the forums you have not slowed down. Once again I wish you all well and will drop in again when I can.

Mitakuye Oyasan! Greetings all. Im now well into Nevada and can report my adventures have all been pleasant and well worth the sacrifice. I have met nothing but wonderful and truly generous people so far and my cause is well received. I am currently just outside the town of Fallon, Nevada, home of the US Navy's Top Gun fighter school. I'll be walking thru town today, and hope to have a good following. To those new to this thread goto aveteranswalk.com to find out about my adventure and cause. If your in my path, let me know I'd love to meet those I only know virtually. Be well all, I'll write as soon as I come across a computer again.
