I'll probably have to add to this list, but here are a few ideas that I thought would make this place just that little bit better.
1. Status and position
It would be nice if PCs could earn titles, ranks and positions within their guilds, cities etcetera. A position of responsiblity with some element of prestige I think would add something. It would also be nice if the guilds such as Ka' azim, Tel'Elena (and those for other classes) could be PC ran. I think this would give them a little bit more of a true guild feeling rather than a glorified shop. Of course, there could always be "governors" to prevent things going awry.
2. More (and higher level scrolls).
Purely selfish but it would be really nice if those top level spells were represented occasionally on the treasure tables and also purchasable, at a high premium of course.
3. More quests.
I know Ive said this before but it would be nice if there were more quests about, simply because there is sometimes little to do on the server if there is no-one to RP with or you've done it all before. Im happy to write some.
4. I cant remember what this one was. I'll add it later.
No 1. is my heart felt wish. |

PC's can and do earn titles. For example Blanche has recieved the title of er... well some level in the priesthood of Midoran. The key word is earn, through roleplay and dedication to whatever group it is. It would, however, take tremendous time and dedication for a PC to work their way up the ranks of a particular organization to displace its current leader. It is doubtful that the high-mage of Ka'azim would willingly step down for someone that has not been a long-standing and important part of that organization. Player run factions though will not ever play a large part in the world of Vives. We prefer to see the more intense and real interactions between individuals, not organizations.
I believe Narenia has made some higher level scrolls available in the treasure tables. They are quite rare of course.
As I've said many times, players are always welcome to submit quests. I've recieved several great ideas in the past couple of weeks from Glic, and I will be implementing many of them when I have some free time. |

Thanks for the reply Alo.
Didnt know that ranks were being given out, which is a good thing. Nonetheless I would like to see these a little more widespread, perhaps even a rank structure from some organisations. I dont suppose anyone would ever be oble to replace Shamn, but if there was some status within Ka'azim etc and an opportunity to earn with ad hoc quests, dedication etc that would be great. At the moment, the only envolvement I have with Ka'azim is when I go there for shopping. How else can I get involved?
As for the latter two in my list that was good news. How do you go about submitting quest ideas. Is it just a psynopsis, a detailed plan etc or do we actually have to use the DM tool and create it? Im happy to do any but think I would probably need help re: the last one. |

Blanche's title is...er...fluid. She's a priestess of Midoran, officially, and a Judge on the Tribunal. If there's anything else, well, you'll have to FOIG.
I can speak for Midor when I saw that if a player has a desire to work towards a position in the hierarchy, PM me and we'll discuss it. I'm more then willing to work with the RPer's of Vives to make a nifty story.

[EDIT:] I'm very demanding of anyone that wishes to have a position of status and authority, meaning if that's a route someone chooses, the story and RP better be a cut above the rest. Of course, this is Vives, so we're all a cut above, rigiht? |

2. More (and higher level scrolls).
It's been done already.
